The aim of the study is to detect the groups of parishes that are similar in terms of folk verse characteristics and to give us insight into the reasoning that the separation into these groups is based upon. The process of classification separates the initial groups into further subsets represented by fuzzy rules, which can be analyzed thanks to the interpretability of such rules. To emphasize the latter, most important features in individual rules are brought out by rule compression. The results of the analysis are backed by what is known from linguistic sciences.","PeriodicalId":403191,"journal":{"name":"EUSFLAT Conf.","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132142021","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this paper is to show that similar property holds also for type-2 fuzzy sets, with respect to some special cutting. As was already demonstrated, the intersection and union of type-2 fuzzy sets are not preserved in α-planes. Thus, we study another kind of cutting, so-called double cuts, and show that the intersection and union of type-2 fuzzy sets are preserved in these double cuts.","PeriodicalId":403191,"journal":{"name":"EUSFLAT Conf.","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-08-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121249082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of our work is to optimize the makespan and the total tardiness of the whole production. A simulation based optimization algorithm is proposed here to solve this problem. It is a combination of the simulation software ARENA and the FLC-NSGA-II optimization method. The latter uses a fuzzy logic controller to adjust the crossover and the mutation probabilities, in order to enhance the research ability of the traditional NSGA-II algorithm. This method is first compared with the industrial solutions, and then with NSGA-II. The result shows the eciency and the feasibility of our proposed method.","PeriodicalId":403191,"journal":{"name":"EUSFLAT Conf.","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-08-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129546381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A corresponding general (nondeterministic) Godel valuation semantics is developed, as well as a (non-deterministic) linear intuitionistic Kripke-frames semantics. We show that every canonical Godel system induces a class of Godel valuations (and of Kripke frames) for which it is strongly sound and complete. The semantics is used to identify the canonical systems that enjoy (strong) cut-admissibility, and to provide a decision procedure for these systems. The results of this paper characterize, both proof-theoretically and semantically, a large family of (non-deterministic) connectives that can be added to propositional Godel logic.","PeriodicalId":403191,"journal":{"name":"EUSFLAT Conf.","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-08-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129869256","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To overcome the constraint on the knowledge of the system model, local models related to some operating points were used to synthesize a nominal fuzzy type-2 global model. The controller uses integral sliding mode concept and contains two parts. Adaptive fuzzy type-2 systems have been introduced to generate the Super Twisting signals to avoid both the chattering and the constraint on the knowledge of upper bounds of both disturbances and uncertainties. These fuzzy type-2 systems are adjusted on-line by adaptation laws deduced from the stability analysis in Lyapunov sense. The advantages of the method are that its implementation is easy, the time convergence is chosen in advance and the robustness is ensured. Simulation results of two link robot manipulator are presented to illustrate the tracking performances of the method.","PeriodicalId":403191,"journal":{"name":"EUSFLAT Conf.","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-08-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128761743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
