Previous related studies often used the ‘summary’ of bug reports because this part contains less noise. However, bug report summaries are often short, leading to short text classification issues which may have been overlooked. This study compares short text classification methods by categorizing bug reports into two classes as real-bug and non-bug based on three major factors namely bug report features, term weighting schemes and machine learning algorithms. Four bug report features (i.e. unigram, unigram + bigram, unigram + CamelCase, and all features), three term weighting schemes (i.e. tf, tf-idf and tf-igm) and three machine learning algorithms (i.e. random forest, support vector machine, and k-means clustering) are compared using bug reports relating to the Mozilla Firefox open source. Finally, unigram + CamelCase features along with tf-igm and support vector machine provide the most optimal bug report classification performance.","PeriodicalId":403083,"journal":{"name":"2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovative Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"347 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133808775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research presents Thailand Stock Index Forecasting, a case study of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) applying Recurrent Neural Networks with Long Short-Term Memory (RNN-LTSM). The research used multiple data sources 15 years of SET Market Data from 2006 to 2020 for stock forecasting divided into Training Set 80% and Test Set 20%. Mean Square Error (MSE) was used for the evaluation model. The results showed that RNN-LTSM Approach optimized the model’s performance based on 5 stock asset companies used in this research. Therefore, the proposed model can be used to develop related forecasting or recommendation systems in the future to help investors consider the risks of investment and support investment decisions.","PeriodicalId":403083,"journal":{"name":"2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovative Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128283954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By means of scenario analysis, this paper shows that if the eavesdropper knows the channel statistics better than the legitimate stations, e.g., know the K-factor estimates of Rician fading channel, they can exploit these knowledges to derive some secret key information. We define a concept called “improper quantization decision loss $left(I_{I D L}right)$” as the entropy loss in the generated key that can be obtained by the eavesdropper. We show step-by-step how the eavesdropper can obtain such information. We also propose a mathematical expression and numerical value of $I_{I D L}$ based on empirical values of channel parameters available in literature. If the legitimate parties are aware of this approximated $I_{I D L}$, they will be able to design suitable privacy amplification scheme for preventing key information loss.","PeriodicalId":403083,"journal":{"name":"2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovative Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129001175","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Solar energy is among the most attractive options, but as with any renewable energy, its reliance on the environment creates uncertainty. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the recent and related studies investigating the influential factors on solar photovoltaic panel performance. The literature review reveals that environmental factors, especially dust, predominantly influence solar photovoltaic panel operation. Evaluation of the interaction between each of these factors, solar photovoltaic panel factors, and dust is performed in this study. These findings will be useful to those involved in the study, experiment, design and development of solar photovoltaic systems, particularly in dusty areas.","PeriodicalId":403083,"journal":{"name":"2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovative Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132092168","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A small radio frequency identification (RFID) tag antenna is employed in this study, where its size of 52.5$times$ 39 mm2 at the operating frequency of 922.5 MHz. The minimum measurement range for the near-field measurement is studied in this paper. The spherical wave expansion is employed as a near-field to far-field (NF-FF) transformation algorithm, where the numerical integration is employed to evaluate associated double integration. The far-field radiation pattern of the antenna under test (AUT) is simulated by three-dimensional (3D) electromagnetic (EM) software. It is found that the simulated radiation patterns and the radiation patterns from numerical NF-FF transformation are in good agreement. Therefore, the near-field measurement can be performed inside a small and low-cost anechoic chamber room.","PeriodicalId":403083,"journal":{"name":"2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress: Innovative Electricals and Electronics (RI2C)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133571354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
