Simple human and mechanical resources can no longer meet people's needs. Therefore, the development of the heading machine has advanced the construction of underground engineering and the development of mineral resources, leading to a significant change in tunneling efficiency. However, the increase in the scale of engineering facilities, changes in geological conditions, the reduction in human resources, and other factors, accompanied by the arrival of the era of big data, have prompted the heading machine to become more and more efficient, advanced, and intelligent. Objective:: This article aimed to describe the classification, characteristics, and development of existing heading machines. It also takes into account the impact of changing engineering facilities, geological conditions, and limited human resources. The research and development direction of the equipment in intelligent perception, intelligent construction, and safety management is proposed. Methods:: In this study, the working principle and related patents of the heading machine have been summarized. The structural characteristics, differences, and application characteristics of the heading machines in different fields are introduced, and the limitations of previous methods have been analyzed. Results:: By analyzing and comparing the existing heading machines and summarizing their typical features, the main problems in the development of heading machines have been analyzed and the development trend of heading machines is predicted. Finally, the current research status and future development trends of heading machines and their patents are discussed. Conclusion:: The heading machines are divided into two types based on the operation object: tunnel boring machine and ordinary heading machine. Among these, the full-face heading machine is the most widely used, and heading machines with different working faces are the most typical among ordinary heading machines. A Gaussian kernel function is used to compute the inner product for selecting the powerful weak classifiers, which further improves the efficiency of the tracker. Moreover, the tracking situation is determined by using these five classifiers, and the correlating classifiers are updated. Results:: The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is robust in terms of occlusion and various appearance changes. Therefore, mechanical joints have gradually been applied in engineering projects, and exhibit a promising potential in connecting prefabricated pipe piles. Objective:: The objective of this study was to present a comprehensive description of the classification, structural characteristics, and application of mechanical connection devices for precast pipe piles in recent years. Methods:: In this study, we conducted a review of the patents related to precast pipe pile mechanical connection devices and presented the advantages of different joints. Further, we introduced the structural features, differences, and applications of precast pipe pile mechanical connection devices. Results:: This study analyzed and compared the different types of mechanical connection devices and summarized their typical characteristics, including connection form, connection quality, construction efficiency, and cost. The main problems existing in the development of precast pipe pile mechanical connection devices were assessed. Subsequently, the development trend of precast pipe pile mechanical connection devices was forecasted, and the research status and future development trend of precast pipe pile mechanical connection devices were discussed. Conclusion:: From the present study, it was found that the mechanical connection of the prefabricated pipe piles can be classified into two categories based on the joint connection range: end integral connection and steel bar connection. The end integral connection device has a large connection area, good connection solidity, and can withstand large loads, which is suitable for large bridges, tunnels, and other projects. However, for small and medium-sized engineering applications, the steel-type connection device is simple, easy to use, and has a wide range of applications that can be adapted to different geological conditions and load requirements. Aiming at the different lengths of coarse grain time series and data loss in traditional multi-scale entropy, a fine composite multiscale dispersion entropy is proposed to calculate the entropy value of each decomposition component, and divide the high- and low-frequency modal components to predict the modal components of different frequencies; secondly, differential moving autoregressive model (ARIMA) and shortterm memory neural network (LSTM) are used to establish the prediction models of high- and low-frequency components, respectively. Results:: Finally, the prediction results of each component have been superimposed and reconstructed to obtain the final prediction results. Existing sequence comparison methods with some patented are mostly alignment-based and remain computationally arduous. background: The primary goal of molecular phylogenetics is to characterize similarity/dissimilarity of DNA sequences. Existing sequence comparison methods are mostly alignment-based and remain computationally arduous. Objective:: In this study, we propose a novel alignment-free approach based on a previous DNA curve representation without degeneracy. Method:: The method combines two important geometric elements that describe the global and local features of the curve, respectively. It allows us to use a 24-dimensional vector called a characterization vector to numerically characterize a DNA sequence. We then measure the dissimilarity/ similarity of various DNA sequences by the Euclidean distances between their characterization vectors. Results:: we compare our approach with other existing algorithms on 4 data sets including COVID-19, and find that our apporach can produce consistent results and is faster than the alignment-based methods.
