In recent years, semi-supervised learning has become a hot issue. Especially, SDA and SMMC are two representative semi-supervised dimensionality reduction methods, which mainly focus on the combination of local geometry structure and label information. For this reason, SDA and SMMC are deeply analyzed in this paper. However, the subspaces generated by these two methods only focus on within-class scatter or between-class scatter. Here we propose a new semi-supervised dimensionality reduction method that can balance them through the co-angle method. The experiment on real-world datasets can illustrate the efficiency of our method.","PeriodicalId":399187,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Smart Internet of Things (SmartIoT)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127664159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the high speed of vehicles and frequent network topology changing in IoV, vehicle communication becomes extremely difficult. Especially in the urban environment, the complex road conditions and large numbers of vehicles put forward higher requirements for the communication performance of IoV in a dense network environment. Vehicle clustering is an effective method to improve communication capability. However, one of the key challenges is to minimize the number of clusters and reduce traffic congestion at the city intersection with the increasing number of vehicle nodes. In this paper, A cluster head capability parameter that considers the characteristics of IoV in an urban intersection scenario is designed, and a novel artificial fish swarm vehicle(AFSA-V) clustering algorithm in IoV is proposed. The simulation results show that the AFSA-V algorithm presented can generate fewer vehicle clusters than the famous CLPSO clustering algorithm, that is expected to reduce communication delay and improve IoV communication performance.","PeriodicalId":399187,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Smart Internet of Things (SmartIoT)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120991558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Network slicing based on Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Network (SDN) technologies provides key functions in 5G network. In this paper, we consider a problem of network slicing switching for mobile users in a wireless access environment. In the Radio Access Network (RAN), the mobile users’ locations need to be re-accessed resource allocation sectors of the appropriate slicing. The performance of the resource sectors will directly affect the users’ service experience. In order to solve the problem of response delay that may be caused by the network slicing switching process, we establish a general heterogeneous scenario model, and propose a slicing access mechanism based on the goal of maximizing throughput to optimize the slicing access selection problem. At the same time, we propose a slicing selection access algorithm based on genetic algorithm, designing a specific implementation scheme in actual network deployment, and we also simulate experiment on related algorithm. The result shows that the slicing selection access algorithm designed in this paper has considerable effectiveness and practicability. Under the premise of ensuring user service experience, the overall performance of the system is improved as much as possible.","PeriodicalId":399187,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Smart Internet of Things (SmartIoT)","volume":"96 2 Pt 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129619868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Similar to any other contractual method, an SLA is not immune to breaches. Ideally, an SLA stipulates consequences (e.g. penalties) imposed on cloud providers when they fail to conform to SLA terms. The current practice assumes trust in service providers to acknowledge SLA breach incidents and executing associated consequences. Recently, the Blockchain paradigm has introduced compelling capabilities that may enable us to address SLA enforcement more elegantly. This paper proposes and implements a blockchain-based approach for assessing SLA compliance and enforcing consequences. It employs a diagnostic accuracy method for validating the dependability of the proposed solution. The paper also benchmarks Hyperledger Fabric to investigate its feasibility as an underlying blockchain infrastructure concerning latency and transaction success/fail rates.","PeriodicalId":399187,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Smart Internet of Things (SmartIoT)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126513615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the number of deployed NB-IoT devices worldwide increases, the question of energy-efficient real-world NB-IoT device and network operation that would maximize the device battery lifetime becomes crucial for NB-IoT service popularity and adoption. In this paper, we present a detailed energy consumption of an NB-IoT module obtained from a custom-designed NB-IoT platform from which a large amount of high time-resolution data is collected. We perform a detailed energy consumption analysis of each NB-IoT data transfer phase and discuss both the device and the network-side configurations that may affect the module energy consumption in each of the phases. Preliminary results and conclusions are put forth along with the discussion of ongoing and future study plans.","PeriodicalId":399187,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE International Conference on Smart Internet of Things (SmartIoT)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115214132","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
