During Bulgaria's national Revival in the 19th century, printed books were published in Bulgarian language for the first time since the beginning of the occupation by the Ottoman Empire. As printing presses were forbidden in the Bulgarian speaking areas at that time, the books were printed in a huge geographical area: from Moscow to New York. With the implementation of the project the books of this period are compiled in one comprehensive online bibliography for the first time. The new information retrieval system applies innovative methodology of Geographic Information Systems which visualizes bibliographic information and allows its utilization by means of topographic indexes. The entries are also linked with the existing digitized full-texts of Bulgarian libraries and museums. The project’s final product (http://books.unibit.bg/) will stimulate the interest of international humanitarian scientists on Bulgarian history, culture, and literature and will significantly improve the conditions for the preparation and conduct of research in the field of the Bulgarian Revival literature, literary and cultural history. At the same time, the information retrieval system will assist librarians in their daily work. A quantitative study design has been opted to conduct a cross-sectional survey from students of the BS (4 Years) program of five public sector universities in the Punjab province, Pakistan. A stratified random sampling technique has opted and a sample of 1288 students has been sampled. A well-structured questionnaire having close-ended questions has been constructed to measure the response in terms of (dis)agreement. Multiple regression analysis has been applied to predict the dependent variable. The study findings assert that students are willing to use the academic library for their academic work along with the following protective measures after the COVID-19 lockdown. It depends on the enforcement of the COVID-19 related aspects. These aspects include social distancing, wearing a face mask, seating arrangements in the library, and availability of hand sanitization in the academic libraries. This study aimed to investigate revenue mobilization and the sustainability of free public library services in Ghana. The study adopts a multiple case study approach, exploiting the advantages of the use of a combination of varied data collection techniques using 3 Regional Public libraries in Ghana to enhance representativeness. The data was collected from some major stakeholders, including Head Librarians, library staff and patrons of public libraries using questionnaires and qualitative interview sessions. Purposive and convenience sampling techniques were employed in selecting respondents for the study. Descriptive statistics, inferential statistics and thematic analysis were deployed as analytical tools to examine the data. Based on the findings of the study, the researchers conclude that the challenge is in tracking down the elusive mix of fee-based services that deliver more than they take away. We therefore, admonish that those who still preach against fee-based services on moral grounds accept the reality that seeking alternative funding (beyond government’s subventions) to sustain public library services has become a Hobson’s choice to most public librarians. Survey research design was adopted for the study. The population comprises 302 disabled students in Federal universities in South-west, Nigeria. Total enumeration technique was used. A questionnaire was used for data collection. The instrument was tested for reliability, yielding Cronbach’s alpha coefficients ranging from 0.74 to 0.75. Descriptive and Inferential Statistics were used to analyze the data. The findings revealed that advisory, carrel and consultancy services were the most available services. The most used services were user education services and consultancy services. The respondents’ information-seeking behavior mostly involves seeking information on health and retrieving information from the e-library. The study concluded that information-seeking behavior influenced the use of library services of disabled students. The study recommended that library management must provide more resources on health-related subjects, especially in electronic form. However, many of these entrepreneurs quite while a number of them die within few years after their operations. The success or failure of any entrepreneur depends to a large extent on availability and accessibility of timely and accurate information that will guild them in decision –making. This paper investigates demographic variables and utilization of public library among entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The study is survey design anchor on positivism paradigm. The target population for this study comprised 200 registered entrepreneurs in Ogun State. Questionnaire was the major instrument for data collection. The study revealed that more males engaged in small-scale business enterprises than females. Majority of them were within the productive age and were educated. The study also established that the main reason for using public libraries by entrepreneurs was basically to seek for business information and they wished to see improvement in terms of effective power supply in the public libraries. The following recommendations were made there is need for governments at all levels to make funds available to entrepreneurs either through banks or other financial institutions and there is need for inclusion of entrepreneurship studies in schools’ curriculum.
