For the comparative analysis of the maximum power point tracking algorithms, these lighting conditions must be reproduced identically for each individual algorithm. This article proposes such a controlled lighting system that can be easily integrated into a more complex system for the study of PV panels. Due to size and energy consumption considerations, the solar simulator is sized for 20W photovoltaic panels, but it can be easily expanded for PV panels of higher power. The lighting control can be done manually or automatically, and the simulator operation can be independent or synchronized with other experimental measurement modules. In case of automatic operation, the simulator allows establishing and memorizing a lighting profile that can be played later individually or periodically. The laboratory plays a vital role in engineering and applied science education. As the internet and IT (Information technology - term that includes the development, installing and use of anything to do with computing and telecommunications) technologies have evolved and connected people globally, the development of virtual and remote laboratories has become inevitable. This innovation is beneficial for students enrolled in traditional classroom-based courses, as well as online or distance learning programs. Students can now extend or adjust their study time, thanks to the growing number of smart and portable devices that can connect to the internet. This convenience greatly facilitates their ability to manage their time and acquire self-directed learning skills, which will be helpful in their future careers. Simulation Program for Integrated Circuits Emphasis (SPICE) is a popular and accurate simulator where behavioral models of the circuits are needed in order to perform the simulation. Over the last decade, the digital and mixed-signal circuits have become the most encountered type of circuits, where the up and down counting operations are essential. There is a lot of research on up and down counters in the literature, but only the up-counting operation has been approached in SPICE until now. For this reason, in this article, an advanced down-counting operation modeling technique is proposed, which aims to model an any-number of bits down-counter accurately, focusing on eliminating the limitation given by the number of bits of a down-counter and providing a fast simulation time. The study of such geometries is of paramount importance to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of the system under investigation. This study centers on the medical aspect, specifically, the bifurcating geometry of the human trachea. A 3D-printed model of a bifurcation with comparable dimensions to the trachea was utilized to perform a range of measurements and visualizations. To help dermatologists in the early detection of melanoma, recently artificial intelligence techniques have been developed and systems based on neural networks are capable of detecting these lesions with high precision. The article proposes two implementations of such multi-network systems (assemblies of efficient neural networks) with good performance for melanoma detection from dermatoscopic images. The first model is one based on the fusion of the decisions of several neural networks considering the weights associated with the individual networks. The second model is one of Horizontal Voting based on the voting of some network models obtained from the basic networks, at various numbers of epochs. The goal was to study the characteristics implemented in existing systems and to create an application based on use cases defined in our faculty, for guidance and automation of students’ decisions in regard with their educational path. In order to apply smart campus concepts, we focused on administrative processes, like subjects’ exchange, with support from a virtual assistant designed to guide students through their decision activities. Ever since the beginning of the 20th century, a solution has been sought to use hydrogen instead of conventional fuels. This work proposes an optimized PWM adjustable current source, with a frequency corelated to the water dissociation frequencies.
