Kamigaichi, Hirohito Naito","doi":"10.11366/SOKUCHI1954.47.128","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.11366/SOKUCHI1954.47.128","url":null,"abstract":"2層式体積歪計(2層式歪計)は昭和 63年(1988年)12月に小田原に設置され(科学技術振興調整 費による),翌年からの観測開始後約 9 年が経過した。この歪計は気象庁で現在使われている体 積歪計(歪計)と同じ動作原理に基づくものであり,これを2台直列にして1つの観測井に設置し たものである。観測目的は,同一井の異なる深さで観測し環境要素の影響を把握すると共に,広域的 な歪変化と局地的な歪変化を識別することにあった。観測によると,下側の歪計は比較的広域の歪 変化を反映していると見られ,平成 8年(1996年)3月の山梨県東部の地震(M5.3)前後を境に現在まで 単調な縮み傾向を示している。 第1図に小田原観測点と気象庁歪計の周辺観測点の配置を示し,第2図に2層式歪計観測井周辺 の地質環境を示す。下側の歪計は比較的硬質の安山岩層に設置されている。第3図に観測開始2年 目から最近まで約9年間の歪変化を示す。第4,5図には小田原の上下2台の歪計出力と隣接の湯 河原の歪計出力を示す。小田原の2台の歪変化は,短期間の変化である降水時の変化などは良く似 るが,長期トレンドは上の歪計が伸びを示しているのに対し下の歪計が縮み傾向を示し対照的であ る。また,下の歪計は隣接する湯河原とほぼ同様の縮み傾向を示し,ある程度広域的なものを反映 すると見られる。第6図に示すように,上下のトレンドの違いは平成8年(1996 年)3 月の山梨県 東部の地震以後顕著になった。第7図に上下の対照的な歪トレンドに関する解釈を示す。第8,9 図には,周辺の歪計で見られるトレンドの変化を,第 10図にトレンドの変化が顕著な観測点の分布 (□印)を示す。第 11図に示すように小田原,網代,および湯河原では,山梨県東部の地震の発生 以後縮み傾向が加速したと見られる。第 12図にあるように,小田原周辺では最近でもほぼ一定の割 合で縮みが進行していると見られる。","PeriodicalId":39875,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Geodetic Society of Japan","volume":"47 1","pages":"128-133"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2001-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"64260055","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the sites of existing superconducting gravimeters, the modeled gravity changes have root-mean-square (RMS) values of as much as 7 Gals, with ranges of up to 22 uGals. Variations much larger than these values can be found over large regions the globe. We find that the gravity effects are predominantly annual in char acter. Dillinger","doi":"10.11366/SOKUCHI1954.47.237","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.11366/SOKUCHI1954.47.237","url":null,"abstract":"The proliferation of permanent Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking sites and improvements in estimating the vertical component of a site's coordinates from GPS measurements present an opportunity to directly observe the crustal deformation caused by loading from ocean tides. The long, continuous record from these sites enables the accumulation of observations coherently with respect to the driving tidal forces, and estimates of the ocean-loading signal can be made from these accumulated observations. Techniques like this defeat atmospheric, geometrical, and multipath effects which can have a comparable magnitude, but do not have the same period as ocean-loading. A project to estimate ocean-loading effects at sites globally was undertaken at the Geodetic Research Division of the National Geodetic Survey. The technique used in and results of that project are presented here. Emphasis will be placed on the diurnal and semi-diurnal tidal signals.
