We provide analysis of the circuits using the operational amplifier (OpAmp) and operational transconductance amplifiers (OTA). Based on these analyses, we present an alternative structure using the second generation current conveyer CCII. Compared to the classical solutions, presented controller exhibits improved features such as symmetrical transfers of feedback and reference paths. The paper is completed by the design equations and the example of design.","PeriodicalId":398720,"journal":{"name":"20th International Conference Radioelektronika 2010","volume":"290 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114264425","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reason for this stems from the fact that SC-FDMA envelope fluctuation is considerable lower than that of conventional Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) technique, thereby results in less sensitivity to the nonlinear distortion introduced by the High Power Amplifiers (HPA). However, in order to achieve high spectrum and power efficiency of the transmission, it is convinient to look for additional strategies to further improve the SC-FDMA robustness against the nonlinear amplification. Therefore, in this paper we introduce the technique based on the iterative detection of nonlinearly distorted SC-FDMA symbols that aims to tackle the nonlinear distortion in an iterative fashion. The performance analysis show the considerable performance improvements of presented technique performing over frequency selective channels.","PeriodicalId":398720,"journal":{"name":"20th International Conference Radioelektronika 2010","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125124193","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For optimal recovery a correct position of the head during recovery time is important. The designed system consists of a telemetric monitoring unit and communication unit. The monitoring unit provides periodical tilt sensing using the digital MEMS accelerometer. The tilt angle and corresponding time are stored in built-in memory. The patient is also warned by sound alarm when posture of head is incorrect. The second part of this system is communication unit which provides communication with the monitoring unit via wireless interface. This communication supports single or continual mode, so the measured data can be available immediately or after treatment period. The developed computer software application provides communication and makes it possible to set up the device before treatment and download the data during or after treatment. It is also designed for measured data analyzing. The described system helps the patient to keep a correct head position. Thanks to data logging it is also a powerful diagnostic tool for clinical specialists.","PeriodicalId":398720,"journal":{"name":"20th International Conference Radioelektronika 2010","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131878853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, two modulating designs dominate over the AM transmitter market - Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology and digital technology. In both cases, it is profitable to implement the modulator in all-digital form, which enables to use powerful DSP algorithms. This paper presents performance study of digital PWM generator, which is the key component of the PWM AM transmitters. As only the natural PWM is baseband distortion-free modulation scheme, the digital PWM generator must calculate the intersection of the modulating signal and a piecewise linear reference signal, requiring a low-distortion interpolating algorithm. Moreover, the digital PWM generator output stage must offer exceptional time resolution and low jitter. Therefore, the accuracy of interpolating algorithm and time resolution of PWM generator are surely the critical points of the digital PWM generator design. Both phenomena are discussed in this paper. The different interpolating algorithms are tested for Signal-to-Sampling Noise Ratio (SSNR) and the digital PWM generator time resolution impact on spectral properties is simulated.","PeriodicalId":398720,"journal":{"name":"20th International Conference Radioelektronika 2010","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133175212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The other limitations within the mobile networks is low transmission bit rate which demands the reduction of the used video resolution and a high efficient video compression technique. Video transmission in wireless environments is a challenging task calling for high-compression efficiency as well as a network-friendly design. The network-friendly design of H.264/AVC is addressed via the network abstraction layer that has been developed to transport the coded video data over any existing and future networks including wireless systems. Exploiting this feature, we present a modified temporal-spatial error concealment algorithm for H.264 coded video. Today there are many complex projects with digital hardware, where fast speed, low development cost and low power consumption are required. We hope that presented idea can be a good solution for this problem. The introduced MLCTT system is combination of Multiprocessor System on Chip and Multi Core System on Chip. It consists of rich set of functional blocks, which are part of almost all modern digital processing systems and defines some basic principles for easy connectivity between those blocks and external environment. By using this solution, the developers can easily create necessarily hardware for target application and easily change it during software development, if necessarily. The main advantage of this solution is independence on used processor(s) and easy network on chip scalability. The whole system is based on the SystemC TLM-2.0 model, because those features are suitable for software profiling and dynamic system generation. This allows the best performance and power consumption tuning for a desired application. However, transmitted signal is nonlinearly amplified and therefore subject to nonlinear distortion. When assuming perfect channel state information present at the receiver, only data symbols are nonlinearly distorted, what results in a decreased performance. However, real world devices must obtain channel state information through estimation process, which is usually based on insertion of pilot symbols into transmission and subsequent pilot symbols channel estimation. In this case, also transferred pilot symbols are subject to nonlinear amplification and distortion, which lowers the accuracy of channel estimation process, and further decreases the transmission performance. This article concerns with evaluation of channel estimation error in a situation of nonlinear amplification, and with an improvement of channel estimation error by iterative algorithm of nonlinear distortion estimation, cancellation and channel reestimation.","PeriodicalId":398720,"journal":{"name":"20th International Conference Radioelektronika 2010","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115337763","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
