So many publications that show the success of animal cloning with SCNT for various purposes, as well as the development of animal cloning methods. This paper will attempt to review the results of successful and limited animal cloning research on the needs of non-threatened (livestock and wild animals) and threatened wildlife. This research was kind of literature review. The research was conduct several phase these are identification, abstract screening, full-text selection, and mini-review writing. The results of SCNT biotechnology for animal cloning can be used for the preservation of wild animal germplasm genetic resources, increasing the production of superior livestock and ways of conserving threatened animals.","PeriodicalId":398638,"journal":{"name":"Journal on Biology and Instruction","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132128667","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is because in biology learning there are many tables, diagrams and drawings, so it needs a special ability to understand it. Therefore, it is necessary to improve students' thinking skills in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes, because the ability to think will be the basic capital in improving other abilities. The research aims to determine the level of understanding of IAIN Kerinci students on terms in Biology and to know what factors influence the understanding of IAIN Kerinci Biology Tadris students in understanding terms in Biology. The population in this study was 975 students majoring in Tadris Biology IAIN Kerinci while the sample in this study was 50 students of semester 1 (one) majoring in Tadris Biology IAIN Kerinci. Based on the results of the study that the author conducted in semester 1 (one) majoring in Tadris Biology IAIN Kerinci obtained that through the test of matching the level of understanding of students more dominantly obtained a score below 54 with a percentage of 54%. Meanwhile, through the essay test, the level of understanding of students is more dominant in obtaining at ≤ 54 with a percentage of 90%. And for factors that affect the understanding of students obtained a percentage that is more dominant on the indicator of emotional intelligence that is with a percentage of 76.8 %. In the indicator of intellectual intelligence obtained a percentage of 72.3 % while in the indicator of learning obtained a percentage value of 73.2 %, and in the indicator of learning behavior obtained the lowest percentage value of 62.8 %.","PeriodicalId":398638,"journal":{"name":"Journal on Biology and Instruction","volume":"2 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134259930","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses library data collection methods, reading and recording research materials (library research). Data collection used is through documentation study with data collection stages by editing and organizing. Data were analyzed using inductive and deductive techniques. The results of the study: 1) student learning outcomes showed an increase in student learning outcomes using the NHT model, 2) strategies in improving learning outcomes consisted of syntax, namely numbering, asking questions, thinking together and answering questions, 3) there were student learning outcomes before the model was applied. learning is low and after the application of the NHT model has increased, 4) the effectiveness of the NHT model is effective in improving student learning outcomes, 5) the use of the NHT model can provide opportunities for students to come up with ideas of knowledge in asking and arguing.","PeriodicalId":398638,"journal":{"name":"Journal on Biology and Instruction","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123998165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Perceptions built by students towards a lesson or concept must always be positive so that the learning outcomes achieved can be maximized. This study aims to determine the relationship between students' perceptions in the Biology subject with the learning outcomes of students across Biology interests at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Tasikmalaya. This research is a correlational study that links perceptions with student learning outcomes on the concept of ecosystems. The population of all class X IPS was five classes, and a sample of 1 class amounted to 34 students, namely in class X IPS 5 as participants with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The class is sampled based on the consideration of the lowest average score compared to other classes. The research instruments used included questionnaires from other studies that were adapted and adapted to the ecosystem concept and multiple-choice tests to measure student learning outcomes. The student perception questionnaire consists of 28 statements. Each item has an alternative answer consisting of 4 choices, namely strongly agree (SS), agree (S), disagree (TS), strongly disagree (STS). While the learning outcome test was measured using multiple-choice questions, the ecosystem material consisted of 46 questions. The data analysis technique used was the bivariate correlation regression test. Prior to data analysis, the normality test and linearity test were performed first as a prerequisite test for analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between perceptions and student learning outcomes on the ecosystem concept of 38.9% with a strong category.","PeriodicalId":398638,"journal":{"name":"Journal on Biology and Instruction","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134234931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
