Both unfilled and filled materials, containing ptfe, MoS<sub>2</sub>, glass fibres or graphite were included. Composites containing graphite were markedly superior to the other materials, but even with these, rates of wear increased rapidly with increasing temperature. All graphite-containing materials behaved in a very similar manner, and this is attributed to domination of the wear behaviour by the graphite component of the composite.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":39768,"journal":{"name":"Mocaxue Xuebao/Tribology","volume":"6 6","pages":"Pages 253-257"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1973-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"https://sci-hub-pdf.com/10.1016/0041-2678(73)90173-5","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89043311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
