Obesity is rapidly spreading around the world. An analysis of recent data on European countries shows that 40-60% of the adult population are overweight and up to 25–30% are morbidly obese. In Europe, about 150 million people are overweight, and about 40 million are morbidly obese. In obese people, life expectancy decreases, and mortality rates under the age of 40 increased by 12 times 1 . The indicators of sudden unexplained death are significantly higher in patients with morbid obesity (MO) than in patients with normal body weight. As a rule, the secondary nature of HA determines the importance of revealing a leading etiological factor, which the way and efficiency of treatment depend on 2 . One of the most common forms of the secondary cephalgia is “cervicogenic headache” (CHA). The pathophysiology of this type of headache requires further studying, although the assumption of a possibility of provoking headache pathology by the cervical spine (CS) has been discussed since 1925. The term CHA combines different mechanism types of headache associated with diseases and pathological condition of the cervical spine and other structures of the neck. The vertebral arteries (VA) locate at the narrow bone canal, created in the openings in the transverse processes of the cervical vertebrae, so even a relatively minor problem in the cervical spine affects their hemodynamics 3 . Among children and adolescents, according to disaggregated data, more than 40% suffer from headache 4 . In adults, the coccyx usually consists of three to five vertebrae, which are connected by a cartilage disc to the fifth sacral vertebra. Sinostasis of the coccygeal vertebrae begins approximately at the age of twelve from bottom to top. Muscles and ligaments that participate in the functioning of the urinary system and the DCP are attached to the coccyx. The pubiccoccygeal, iliac-coccygeal and coccygeal muscles form the lift muscle of the anus, and the anococcygeal ligament is interwoven into the fibers of the rectal sphincter. The anatomical features of the female pelvis include the fact that the sacral bone along with the coccyx is deflected more to the back, so that the coccyx is located more superficially than in men. The angle between the sacrum and the coccyx is normally 2 150 ± 3.7°. The anatomic-functional unity of the fasciae, ligaments and muscles of the DCP forms an elastic suspended structural system that promotes the formation of natural bends (ano-rectal and sigmo-rectal angles) responsible for the implementation of both the normal act of defecation and the function of physiological abstention. In case of any component disorder of this DCP system, or change in the size of the sacroiliac angle, factors that contribute to the formation of conditions for dysfunction of the rectum and pelvic bottom appear. The applied fascias value is conditioned that they, being the","PeriodicalId":397126,"journal":{"name":"CONCEPTUAL OPTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AND EDUCATION","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131608461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of sepsis is more than urgent, and in 2017, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially called sepsis a threat to the world and adopted a resolution about this disease. According to the WHO, sepsis is recorded annually in 30 million patients. It leads to 6 million deaths, most of which could be prevented. After all, sepsis is the result of violating the regulation of the response of the macroorganism to infection, manifests with damage to the body’s own tissues and organs and concludes with life-threatening multiple organ failure. In the early stages of sepsis, it can be well treated if it is diagnosed early and the effective treatment and monitoring of patients conditions are timely. However, currently the solution of this problem is difficult due to the lack of effective methods of early diagnosis and pathogenetic treatment of this disease 1 . The 70th WHO Assembly adopted the resolution about the need of developing the clinical guidelines for the prevention of sepsis, its diagnosis and treatment. This issue is to be re-examined by the 73rd WHO Assembly. Therefore, the relevance of this problem is currently very high, but not yet solved, despite the large number of scientific research. Sepsis during pregnancy and postpartum period remains the leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Its occurrence is characteristic of both developing and highly developed countries. It should be noted that there are significant difficulties in the diagnosis of obstetric sepsis compared with the diagnosis of sepsis in the general population. First of all, the onset of postpartum purulent-inflammatory diseases (PPPID) is now often accompanied with an atypical aberrant course, characterized by discrepancy between nonspecific common manifestations and the severity of the local pathological process. In addition, during pregnancy, there are characteristic physiological changes that negate the informativeness of","PeriodicalId":397126,"journal":{"name":"CONCEPTUAL OPTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AND EDUCATION","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116992052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The work of a dentist in the field of primary health care, integrated with a general practitioner – family doctor, to improve the quality and effectiveness of diagnostic, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation care to the population of different age groups plays a significant role. In most European countries, where 80–85% of dentists are general practitioners, they work at the primary level on the principle of a family doctor, treating the most common diseases of the teeth and mouth and carrying out preventive measures. However, it is difficult to imagine the recognition and treatment of various diseases of the maxillofacial region without modern diagnostic methods, including radiological, which are the leading methods in dental practice. Focusing on the current state of radiology, it should be noted that the method of cone-beam computed tomography is becoming a standard in dental practice, so the use of cone-beam computed tomography in orthodontic practice can be classified into four areas of application: 1) proper diagnostics: evaluation of skeletal features, symmetry or asymmetry of bone and dental structures, evaluation of the position of displaced and impacted teeth, bone growth of the facial skeleton, patency of the upper respiratory tract and complex structures of the temporomandibular joint, as well as areas of the hard palate; 2) treatment planning: different volume of orthodontic interventions, prior to fixing braces, precise location in the area of unerupted or impacted teeth, for the manufacture of various types of orthodontic devices in conjunction with the capabilities of CAD/CAM technologies;","PeriodicalId":397126,"journal":{"name":"CONCEPTUAL OPTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AND EDUCATION","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126964921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Anticonvulsant therapy remains the basis for treating patients with epilepsy, which involves inhibition or a significant reduction in the number of attacks 1 . Currently, the term antiepileptic are synonymous with anticonvulsant agents as they all selectively suppress seizure and their use is determined predominantly by the nature of paroxysmal manifestations or its equivalents. Depending on the clinical manifestations of epilepsy, different anticonvulsants can be prescribed. Often, for the treatment of epilepsy, combined use of several medicines is rational (simultaneously or sequentially). Therefore, the success of the treatment of epilepsy is on the way to finding new anticonvulsants, which would have had an effect on different pathogenetic links in the formation of all variability of seizure states. Antiepileptic drugs act on different molecular targets, selectively changing the excitability of neurons in such a way that the neuronal activity associated with attacks is blocked without disturbing the normal activity required to transmit signals between neurons. Various mechanisms can lead to reducing the excitability of the neurons of the epileptogenic cell. Basically they consist either in inhibiting activating neurons, or in activating depressing nerve cells, i.e., they are reduced to three major pharmaconeurophysiological effects 2 : relief of GABA or glycine-dependent transmission, reduction of excitatory (glutamate or aspartate) transmission","PeriodicalId":397126,"journal":{"name":"CONCEPTUAL OPTIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL SCIENCE AND EDUCATION","volume":"434 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126991053","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
