In this study, extrusion method, which is one of the cold forming methods of elbow pipes, has been investigated. When the literature is examined, the production conditions of steel pipes and the problems that occur in production have been examined by different people and suggestions have been made. In this study, the production process of AISI 316L (EN 1.4404) quality stainless steel elbow pipes has been investigated. The mold design model created with the Solidworks program was transferred to the non-linear finite element analysis software ANSYS program for simulations. The process was modeled and simulated in the transient structural analysis section of the ANSYS program. In the process of transforming the pipe into an elbow product, we have learned about the stress distributions and obtaining the total deformation changes on the elbow. The parameters of the production process have been optimized by comparing the work done in the simulation and experimental data. In this way, cost-effective production is aimed by minimizing production costs. The data was extracted by simulating the production environment and conditions.","PeriodicalId":396861,"journal":{"name":"Euroasia Journal of Mathematics, Engineering, Natural & Medical Sciences","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125668663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Facial recognition-based systems, one of the biometric person recognition systems, have been widely used in recent years thanks to their easy implementation, fast integration and simple usage as they do not require any additional equipment. Especially the widespread use of computer vision and cloud-computing based applications, smart face recognition systems have become an indispensable part of our lives in recent years. The use of these systems, which have become widespread in security, health, education, military, shopping mall and industrial areas, has increased more during the pandemic period. Institutions and organizations do not want to allocate time and cost to write their own software for face recognition based systems. The services offered by major cloud computing providers can be used to solve this problem. In this context, the article presents a smart announcement system design using cloud computing based face recognition technology. In the past, making an announcement has been seen as a difficult task. It was thought to be a time consuming task, both because of the cost of printing and because all the operations had to be repeated when there were changes in the announcement. Today, signs have left their places to digital screens. It will especially ensure that announcements, warnings, promotions, and notifications are performed effectively at the developed system for large scale institutions, organizations, factories, universities, shopping malls and health institutions. Facial recognition based smart announcement system detects features such as person recognition, gender, and age estimation at a rate of 100% and displays personal announcements according to their priority status. In addition, according to the experimental studies, it was observed that the person recognition and the presentation of the announcements on the screen took an average of 1.3 seconds. According to the announcement system survey, 85% of those who use the system stated that it is useful and user-friendly.","PeriodicalId":396861,"journal":{"name":"Euroasia Journal of Mathematics, Engineering, Natural & Medical Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130775434","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When we look at the diagnosis of patients who underwent transfusion in the emergency department; It was determined that 26.2% were transfused for malignancy, 32.6% for anemia, 18.3% for trauma, 12.5% for GIS bleeding, and 10.4% for other reasons. The patients who had blood product transfusion were 623; 53.8% were male and 46.2% were female. The mean age of the patients was determined 47.87±23.66. The percentage of transfused blood products were as following: 83.6% erythrocyte suspension (ES), 17.3% fresh frozen plasma (FFP), 17.3 % platelet suspension(PS), 0.6% whole blood(WB), %4.3 other blood components (OBC). As a result, we can say that in our study, a large number of transfusions were performed in the emergency department, a specific protocol was not adhered to in determining the indication, and transfusion was performed in support of patients who were mostly under outpatient follow-up. Emergency transfusion decisions should be performed with true emergency indication, follow-up with clinical response rather than laboratory response, and consciousness about the aim of transfusion.","PeriodicalId":396861,"journal":{"name":"Euroasia Journal of Mathematics, Engineering, Natural & Medical Sciences","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114043389","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is received from naturally occurring radionuclides in water, air, soil and food. Ingestion is one of the two major pathways through which these nuclides enter the human systems. Radiological assessment of fruits, vegetables, grains and tuber crops cultivated and consumed in Okemesi township, Ekiti State has been carried out using a 76mm by 76mm lead-shielded Sodium Iodide detector (NaI(Tl)) located at the Centre for Energy, Research and Development (CERD), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. The mean activity concentration of the radionuclides in the food samples was 155.76 ± 14.22 Bqkg-1 for 40K, 8.00 ± 0.24 Bqkg-1 for 238U and 7.39 ± 0.21 Bqkg-1for 232Th.The value obtained for Annual Effective Dose due to intake of the food crops (Ding) ranged from 104.32 to 687 µSv yr-1 while values for Excess Lifetime Cancer Risks (ECLR) ranged from 0.365 t0 2.407. Although the radioactivity levels in the food crops were lower than the world-wide limits, some values obtained for the AED and the ELCR were significantly higher than the recommended limits of UNSCEAR 2000. The rank order of Ding and ELCR in the food types was tubers ? fruits ? vegetables ? grains. Consumption of food cultivated in the area over a long period of time may induce a degree of health risks which should not be overlooked.","PeriodicalId":396861,"journal":{"name":"Euroasia Journal of Mathematics, Engineering, Natural & Medical Sciences","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121585924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
