Warfarin resistance is described as the inability to prolong the prothrombin time or raise the INR up to the 2 therapeutic range when the drug is given at typically doses. Polymorphisms may play a role as some VKORC1 and CYP2C9 variant alleles are known to be associated with these circumstances. 28 patients who were taking warfarin more than 15 mg/day and had INR values below 2.1 and had thromboembolic events while using warfarin were enrolled in this study. Heterozygote mutation in the VKORC1 gene was identified in 15 of 28 patients. Seven patients had heterozygote mutation of the CYP2C9 gene, and that may correspond to the ultrarapid metabolism of warfarin. VKORC1 and CYP2C9 polymorphism contribute to the difference in dose requirement amongst the patients, but other additional possible factors may play a role in different races. For this purpose, St-37 galvanized steel pipes with ØD = 21.3 mm outer and Ød = 15.9 mm inner diameters were modeled in three dimensions by creating 8, 10, 12 mm overlapping lengths in male and female form and 30, 40 and 50 mm curvilinear radii on the forehead regions. Numerical analyzes of the created models were performed in the ANSYS Workbench program, and samples with an overlap length of 10 mm were prepared on the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) bench to verify the numerical analysis. The prepared male and female specimens were joined using an acrylic-based DP810 structural adhesive resistant to humid environments, curable at room temperature, and validation experiments were carried out. After the study, obtained numerical and experimental data showed that pipe lap joints subjected to torsional moment with the same lap length but different curvilinear radius have been observed to vary significantly in the amount of load they carry. In addition, as the overlap length increased, the amount of load they carried increased. Many critical information, such as the list of bus lines passing through the station, the station-based schedule of the bus lines and when the vehicle operating in the transportation system will pass through the station, are calculated and published according to the station number. For this reason, the station number is being memorable by the citizens and the station numbers of the bus stations, which are spatially close to each other, are numerically very close to each other, are very important in terms of easy learning of the station number. Bus station numbers are usually numbered according to the order in which the line routes pass through the stations. However, considering this case, there is a huge difference between the inconsistency in the station numbers and the station numbers of the stations that are spatially close to each other, when the line route is changed or when the station numbers and the order of passing from the stations are different for different lines passing through the same station. In this study, a hierarchical clustering-based new approach has been proposed to eliminate the problems in bus station numbers and to set bus station numbers that are spatially close to each other. The proposed approach was carried out using the real bus line route and bus station data of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality. In the experimental evaluations, the difference between the bus station numbers created by the classical method and the difference of the bus station numbers created by the hierarchical clustering method that spatially close to each other were compared. Kaya","doi":"10.38065/euroasiaorg.787","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.38065/euroasiaorg.787","url":null,"abstract":"Within the scope of this study, the first evaluations of natural (226Ra, 232Th and 40K) and artificial (137Cs) radio isotope activities of the Arzular-Yitirmez-Dölek (Gümüşhane) mine/alteration site were carried out. Measurements were carried out with Poptop Ortec gamma rays detector on 22 soil samples collected from the field. When the natural 232Th, 226Ra and 40K activities of the area are compared with the weighted world averages, it has been determined that the 40K and 226Ra activities exceed the world averages in most of the sampling points, and the 232Th activities are below the weighted world average except for a few sampling points. It was observed that the artificial 137Cs activities in the field were above the detection limit and exceeded 2 Bq/kg except for a few sampling points. It has been evaluated that the high 137Cs activities in the field may be associated with a human-induced effect, especially the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Parameters such as radiological hazard indices, Ra equivalent activity value, absorbed dose rate and annual effective dose rate were also calculated for the field. Many physical and structural properties of metals and alloys change due to defects in their crystal structures in response to irradiation. Shape memory alloys (SMAs) are functional materials and are used in mechanical devices for monitoring nuclear facilities. In this study, copper-based SMAs were used. Copper-based SMAs are very sensitive to alloying elements and small changes in element percentages. Cu-11.6Al-0.42Be, Cu-11.8Al-0.47Be, Cu-13Al-4Ni, and Cu-13.5Al-4Ni (wt%) SMA samples were irradiated with a fixed radiation dose of 50 kGy. The effect of irradiation on the thermodynamic parameters and structural properties of copper-based SMAs was investigated. The effects of irradiation on thermodynamic parameters were determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Structural examinations were made by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and optical microscope observations. Microhardness measurements were taken. Sixty-eight volunteer students (50 females, 18 males) studying at Pamukkale University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and taking the Psychosocial Rehabilitation course in the Spring Semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year participated in the study. The Attitude Toward Disabled Persons Scale (ATDPS) was used to evaluate the positive and negative attitudes of the students towards the disabled individuals, and the Attitude Scale for the Training of Individuals with Disabilities (ASTID) was used to determine their views on the education of the disabled individuals. Evaluations were made at the beginning and end of the relevant semester. The mean age of the students was 19.44±1.07 years. In the first evaluation, the mean of ATDPS was 50.75±13.92 and the total score of ASTID was 51.04±18.42 points. At the last evaluation, the ATDPS score increased to 78.36±13.77 and the ASTID total score to 93.13±7.48 (p=0.0001). Providing students with basic information about various disability groups and their rehabilitation will increase the level of awareness towards people with disabilities. It is important to develop positive attitudes towards the disabled throughout society in order for the disabled to feel themselves as a part of social life and to increase their participation in social life. It will contribute to the increase of the social awareness of the organizations to be organized regarding the education of the disabled and disabled people. The research was carried out by scanning the articles in PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCOhost, Pscyh-Info, Turkish Psychiatry Directory, Ulakbim, YÖK National Thesis Center, Dergipark, Turkish Medline and Turkiye Klinikleri databases between January-February 2021. 1713 records were reached in the screening. The full text of 825 articles were examined according to the access and exclusion criteria, and 4 studies reporting results about the effect of motivational interviewing on drug compliance in individuals with schizophrenia were included in the analysis. The studies included a total of 384 individuals, including 190 (49.47%) and 194 (51.53%) individuals in the control group. Three of the studies were randomized controlled experimental studies and one was pretest-posttest controlled experimental study. Our study concluded that the motivational interview method is effective in individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. The non – isothermal kinetics was performed by using Kissenger, Boswell, Ozawa and Starink methods known as model – free methods. The recrystallization temperatures on DSC graphics at different heating rates (β) were deduced and the activation energies were calculated from the slopes from Y – 1/T diagrams. Y is ln(β/T2) for Kissenger, ln(β/T) for Boswell, ln(β) for Ozawa and ln(β/T1.92) for Starink. Yeast species that have the Crabtree effect are called Crabtree positive, and yeast species that do not have the Crabtree effect are called Crabtree negative. While Crabtree negative yeast strains are mostly used for heterologous protein production in the industrial field, Crabtree positive yeast strains are used to understand metabolic events in cancer cells. The genes encoding the enzymes involved in the glycolytic pathway in S. cerevisiae yeast cells are controlled by Gcr1p. Gcr1p binds to CT elements located in the promoter regions of glycolytic genes and activates their transcription. In our study, Crabtree positive and negative yeast strains containing Sc-Gcr1p similar proteins were determined, and protein similarity analyzes and promoter analyzes of genes encoding the relevant proteins in these yeast strains were compared in silico using different databases and analysis programs. For this purpose, SGD, UNIPROT, NCBI-Genome and Yeastract databases and BLASTp-NCBI, MEGA-X and Chromatin Folding V2 programs were used. Using the SGD database, 32 different yeast strains were identified that matched with Sc-Gcr1p. Five different Crabtree positive and 5 different Crabtree negative yeast strains were selected from these yeast strains and in silico analyzes were performed using these yeast strains.
