The objective of VRP is to serve a set of customers at minimum cost, such that every node is visited by exactly one vehicle only once. In this paper, we consider the Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem (DVRP) which new customer demands are received along the day. Hence, they must be serviced at their locations by a set of vehicles in real time minimizing the total travel distance. The main goal of this research is to find a solution of DVRP using genetic algorithm. However we used some heuristics in addition during generation of the initial population and crossover for tuning the system to obtain better result. The computational experiments were applied to 22 benchmarks instances with up to 385 customers and the effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated by comparing the computational results with those previously presented in the literature.","PeriodicalId":393729,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Logistics Operations Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125567897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, it is crucial to model and optimize practical transportation problems. In this paper, we present a mathematical model for a Real Time Multi-Objective Vehicle Routing Problem which can be described as the problem of designing optimal delivery or collection routes from one or several depots to a number of geographically scattered customers, where we take into account the appearance of new customers over the time and we minimize two objectives : the total distance and response time of customers. Using this model, we perform the resolution by the ant colony system.","PeriodicalId":393729,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Logistics Operations Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126760223","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their mission is not just about delivery, but also and mostly ensuring the access to the right medicine to all patients throughout the Moroccan territory on the right time, safely and efficiently. They deliver up to 5 shipments on a daily basis. However, the changing social, economic and regulatory context in addition to the specificity of medicines and complexity of pharmaceutical supply chain begets weaknesses and threats which could put their mission at stake and causes a sharp deterioration in their profit margins. Following these difficulties, the wholesaler-distributors are called upon to maintain their supply chain and control all internal and external activities. Having a holistic and detailed map of the supply chain processes, which joins the strategic level to the operational one, and identifies all the collaborations links between internal and external actors is of a paramount importance. In view of this, we will demonstrate in this paper the advantages of a hybrid model based on the SCOR and BPMN to map the wholesaler-distributors supply chain processes. The SCOR model is used as a reference model while BPMN as a modelling tool. The models developed will be a relevant decision-making support, an excellent mean of communication and a starting point for further analysis.","PeriodicalId":393729,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Logistics Operations Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121448444","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study will allow us to appreciate the maturity of the LSP operating in Morocco, through the level of diversification of their logistics services offerings and thus the extent of their responsiveness. Nowadays the expansion in terms of service has become crucial for any implementation of a successful outsourcing strategy and to attract and convince contractors through efficient and well adapted services. This paper is structured mainly around three parts: the first part presenting the state of the art in the outsourcing of logistics activities in Morocco. The second part is a presentation of the Moroccan economy through the different national economic sectors. The third part concerns an exploratory study grouping, on the one hand, the various Moroccan sectors and their needs in logistics services, and on the other hand, the offers of a group of LSP operating in Morocco through several services they offer. This study will allow knowing the maturity of the market of the LSP operating in Morocco and its homogeneity with the existing sectors in the country.","PeriodicalId":393729,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Logistics Operations Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123570332","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although a percentage of hospital waste is considered as hazardous waste that may present various risks to humans, animals and the environment if not managed properly. This paper highlights on-site healthcare waste collection, since a proper internal collection is important in order to minimize the risk to the patients, hospital staff, visitors and the surrounding environment. We focus on determining routes for healthcare waste on-site collection from points of generation of the waste to its interim storage area, with the objective of minimizing the total traveling time, considering the disinfection time of the trolleys, and also minimizing the transportation exposure risk. This multi-objective nature of the problem makes it a special case of the vehicle routing problem with time window (VRPTW) but it is complex compared to the general VRPTW since it has several specific characteristics such as managing the trolleys' departure times and the routes ordering, also the transportation is done by a fleet of trolleys performing multiple routes during each shift thus it is related to the multi-trips vehicle routing problem (MTVRP), also each collection request is delimited by a time window and each collection request specifies the type of waste to collect which can be considered as the multi-commodity vehicle routing problem (MCVRP). We present the mathematical model that we have built for the problem, which results after an appropriate transformation of the problem into a node routing one. This specific problem was inspired by a real world application and does not appear in the literature.","PeriodicalId":393729,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Logistics Operations Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121938047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We will introduce the Vehicle Routing Problem with soft time windows, in both cases: static (VRPSTW) and dynamic (D-VRPSTW). Input information changes dynamically over time with the appearance of new customer requests at any point during the vehicle's route, that include real-life assumptions. On the other hand, soft time windows allow deliveries outside the boundaries against a penalty cost. This paper proposes the hybridization of the genetic method and the variable neighborhood search method to solve the two version of the problem. This algorithm reduces the transportation costs by using a fleet of vehicles, improves the quality of service by reducing the delay time for each customer and increase the stopping time for each vehicle. The solution quality of this method has been compared against existing results on benchmark problems.","PeriodicalId":393729,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Logistics Operations Management","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126999687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
