An accurate traffic prediction model should have the ability to capture the prominent traffic characteristics, e.g. short and long dependence, self similarity in large-time scale and multifractal in small-time scale. For these reasons time series models are introduced in network traffic simulation and prediction. Accurate traffic prediction may be used to optimally smooth delay sensitive traffic or dynamically allocate bandwidth to traffic streams. A modified Elman neural network model is proposed for the network system in this paper. Compared to the traditional Elman neural network model, the proposed model is nonlinear, multivariable and time-varying and has higher accuracy and better adaptability. By the model, a abnormal behavior of network traffic can be found on time through the test of adaptive boundary value. While base NPs (BNP) and maximal length NPs (MNP) are relatively easy to identified and extracted, the internal structure of NPs is rather a challenge in natural language processing. Penn Treebank leaves the BNPs flat as implicit right branching. Vadas and Curran added BNP internal structure to the Penn Treebank. But the results of the BNP structure are very often incorrect when it is considered within a longer complex NP (CNP). Structural ambiguity prevails in most CNPs and multilingual comparison may help improve disambiguation. We introduce a new NP annotation scheme, which is applicable to multilingual parallel corpora and discriminate genuine flat branching and right branching. Flat branching is preferred instead of binary branching wherever appropriate so as to achieve inter-lingual consistency. As a pilot task to build a gold standard corpus for structural and semantic analysis of CNPs, 381 document titles are extracted from the UN resolutions as typical examples of CNPs. Document titles in Chinese, English and Russian are manually annotated in XML format with the hope to help acquire rules for parsers or machine translators targeted at CNPs. NSCT is the sparse representation of a two-dimension piecewise smooth signals, not only satisfying the anisotropic scaling relation and having the multi-scale, multidirectional characteristics, and shift invariance, but also being able to accurately capture the image information of the contour feature and texture details. In proposed algorithm, NSCT transform is first used to decompose source images at each scale and direction to get low-pass sub-band coefficients and band-pass directional sub-band coefficients. Then, the fusion rule of weighted box-counting dimension is adopted in low-pass subband, as well as the fusion rule of local space frequency in band-pass directional sub-band. Finally, the NSCT inverse transform is employed to get the fused image. On the other hand, WLAN system works in the 2.4 ~ 2.4835 GHz. In this paper, coexistence experiment results between indoor distribution systems of TD-LTE with WLAN AP around the 2.4GHz band were presented first, these results show that the interferences are significant. According to interference analysis, the reasons of interference are found, and the relevant avoiding interference proposals are provided. This algorithm uses improved Euclidean Distance as similar measurement and then evaluates the similar distance between dynamic time sequences and pattern time sequences in a batch pattern using Fast Fourier Transform. In order to shorten waiting time prediction patterns are used to predict feature value and accomplish fast response of online query by comparing the similarity between prediction sequences and pattern sequences. In order to ensure the safety, unmanned cars must percept the surrounding environment precisely and exhaustively. To achieve this, various sensors including camera, lidar, and radar are equipped with unmanned cars. While the environment perception algorithms are relatively mature, there is no general solution for the multi-sensor information fusion for unmanned cars. In this article, we present a solution for multi-sensor information fusion for unmanned cars using radar map. With this solution, different environment information detected by various sensors can fuse naturally in radar map. Besides, the radar map is essentially a matrix and can be easily stored in memory. Experiment results show that radar map works well in all road conditions. Firstly, three kinds of temperature features named horizontal, vertical and sequential difference grid features are introduced and extracted from the thermal images of four facial regions. Secondly, K-Nearest Neighbor is used as a classifier in each facial region. After that, a voting strategy is used as the decision-level fusion. Experiments on a large scale infrared thermal expression database achieve around 61.62% recognition rate. The comparative experiment results suggest that face-region-based facial expression classification using the temperature difference features is feasible, and demonstrate that difference grid features are independent and insensitive to individual or environment.
