The population in this research were high school teachers in Riau Province. The research method used in this research was descriptive survey method and explanatory survey with a minimum sample size of 220 respondents, with the data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings of the research were the principal's leadership has a positive and significant effect on work motivation with a contribution (R2) of 56%, the principal's leadership and work motivation simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution (R2) of 62%, leadership the principal directly or indirectly through work motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a contribution (R2) of 49%. So, the writer was interested in carrying out the reseach about this problem. The objective of the reseach is to find out the students’ comprehend in Descriptive text that taught by using Running Dictation game, to find out the students’ comprehend in Descriptive text that taught without using Running Dictation game and to find out whether there is any significant effect of using Running Dictation Game at the Eighth Grade Students’ of MTs Hubbulwathan Duri. The Subject was the Eighth Grade students’of MTs Hubbulwathan Duri, and the object of this research was the effect of using Running Dictation Game in Comprehend Descriptive text. The design of this research was Pre-Test Experimental. The Writer used one class as sample. That consists of 31 students in the class. The Writer gave pre-test to experimental class. Then, the writer gave treatment for experimental class. Finally, the writer gave post-test to experimental class in order to know the effect of Running Dictation Game that applied by the writer. The technique of collecting data was the test. The technique of analyzing data, the writer adopted paired sample t-test formula by using software SPSS V.17. The objectives of the research is to find out the significant effect of using gallery tour strategy on the students’ reading comprehension at the eighth grade students of SMP N 5 Tanah Putih. This research is an experimental research. The design of this research is quasi experimental design, which uses two groups. The population of this research is the whole students of eighth grade students of SMP N 5 Tanah Putih. There are three classes that consist of VIII.1, VIII.2, and VIII.3. The total population is 100 students. The classes chosen are VIII.1 as the experimental class and VIII.3 as the controlled class. Each class consists of 34 and 33 students so the total of the sample is 67 students. The result of the research is there is significance effect of using gallery tour strategy toward the students’ reading comprehension of the eighth grade students of SMP N 5 Tanah Putih. It is gotten because of t-test is bigger than t-table = 12.935 is bigger than 2.0315 in degree of significance 5%, it could be concluded that Ha3 is accepted. In other words, There is significant effect of pre-test and post-test mean scores of using gallery tour strategy in experimental group. The research is a descriptive research, intended to know students understanding in guessing synonym word of the eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Mandau. The subject of this research is the eighth grade student of SMP Negeri 2 Mandau. The object of this research is the students understanding in guessing synonym word. The population of this research is the eighth grade student of SMP Negeri 2 Mandau. There is eight class of population. Total numbers of students are 320.The researcher uses the Simple Random Sampling. From eighth classes, the researcher takes two random classes as sample. The sample is class VIII.1 and VIII.2. Total of the sample is 80 students. The result of this research showed that students understanding in guessing synonym word of the eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Mandau falls to good level. This can be seen on the results of the test conducted by the researcher. The researcher got the total score of the whole students is 5600. So, the average score of the students is 70.
