However, most current algorithms are passive in the sense that the pairwise constraints are provided beforehand and selected randomly. This may lead to the use of constraints that are redundant, unnecessary, or even harmful to the clustering results. In this paper, we address the problem of constraint selection to improve the performance of semi-supervised clustering algorithms. Based on the concepts of Maximum Mean Discrepancy, we select a batch of most informative instances that minimize the difference in distribution between the labeled and unlabeled data. Then, querying these instances with the existing neighborhoods to determine which neighborhood they belong. The experimental results with state-of-the-art methods on different real-world dataset demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":39095,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Systems Science and Applications","volume":"19 1","pages":"25-44"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44451494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The maximization of specific consumption is proposed as a target criterion, regarding private interests – for the region, regarding general interests – for the macro-region. The model provides for the possibility of using the available resources of each region, both for solving the problems of its own development, and for the general development goals of other regions as part of the macroregion. The model is investigated using simulation modeling based on materials from the Southern Federal District. There are several debatable conclusions made after the research. Calculations, in particular, show that it is not profitable for any region to develop its own production sector in the current conditions, the optimal strategy for each of them is only to increase consumption in the hope of production activity in neighboring regions. In view of the selection of this rational strategy by all regions at the same time, general degradation of the production sphere and stagnation of the regional economy are forecasted. At the same time, it was revealed that a further reduction in production becomes unprofitable for almost all lagging regions (republics of the Southern Federal District), while inaction remain profitable for leading regions (regions of the Southern Federal District).","PeriodicalId":39095,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Systems Science and Applications","volume":"19 1","pages":"1-13"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43014266","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A university as an active system is analyzed, and some sustainable development criteria are suggested and formally described using the integrated assessment approach. A series of sustainable management models at the levels of department, faculty, and university are presented as follows: a dynamic incentive model for the participants of a research project; a static reward distribution model as a game in the characteristic function form; a dynamic working time distribution model for department staff as a differential game in the normal or characteristic function form based on compulsion; dual discrete programming problems with sustainable development constraints for determining an optimal staff structure of a faculty, with assessing the efficiency of different paired unions of departments; dynamic coordination models for the social and private interests of university staff in the course of innovations promotion, as differential games in the normal and characteristic function form based on impulsion; finally, dynamic models of anti-corruption drive. Major emphasis is placed on problem statements and possible solution methods.","PeriodicalId":39095,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Systems Science and Applications","volume":"19 1","pages":"65-79"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48776345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This kind of network offers different kind of communication such as Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communication. The V2V communication a folk of Mobile ad hoc network(Manet). It is characterized by a high mobility, dynamic topology, lack of centralized control infrastructure and a non secured shared media. Similar to Manet, V2V is vulnerable to a many types addressed this issue and many solutions have been proposed. One of attacks such as blackhole, sybil and Denial of service attack. Security in such cases is primordial. Many studies have of the most promising studies used Distribution Certification authority (DCA) to secure communication within VANETs networks. In this paper, we propose a new method of certification based on the study of the behavior of each node based on AODV routing protocol. The operational performance is evaluated with rigorous analysis and extensive simulation study. Therefore, obtaining sufficient output power at idle speed is required.  The optimization process aims to improve alternator output power, at idle speed, for given stator dimensions and footprint. To derive the optimal rotor structure, cyclic coordinate method linked with magnetic equivalent circuit (MEC) model is used, including magnetic saturation effect and leakage flux. Optimization results, which provide the optimized rotor geometrical dimensions, are discussed. Performances regarding the optimized claw pole alternator are evaluated over the entire operating speed range of the vehicle.","PeriodicalId":39095,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Systems Science and Applications","volume":"19 1","pages":"120-133"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46606705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These sources are used as a self-supporting energy source at the time of outage of electricity due to a fault, equipment’s failure and other not working conditions if they have stored energy. In this paper, a multi-agent system is consisting of microgrid agent, home agent, control distribution agent, and supply source. The supply source agents include those agents who control the storage; it also called as energy storage agents which are controlled by house agents. If the utility is not providing the demand energy to the consumers due to fault or some other reasons in this case stored energy in batteries and other resources like a solar panel, small wind plant of the microgrid and provide the energy within the microgrid and outside the microgrid. In this paper main focus is given on the Priority index, cost optimization, and load optimization algorithms. By doing this it helps in providing the energy during the outage at the lower cost and dependency on the main grid may be reduced. It also boosts the principle of bidirectional flow of power which make consumer as a supplier also. This will reduce the electric bill charges and increases the reliability of supply electricity.","PeriodicalId":39095,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Systems Science and Applications","volume":"19 1","pages":"90-100"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45716225","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This numerical characterization is intended to determine the parameters that affect the thermal comfort for the occupants of these architectures in this region. To achieve this objective, a numerical model describing the thermal exchanges taking place in a model of a habitable envelope has been developed. This model is based on thermal balances established at the level eachwall of the habitat. The numerical models developed have been validated using climatic data recently measured in the renewable energy research unit of the Saharan medium at Adrar ‘’URER'MS‘’. A well detailed analysis of the some parameters that influence the thermal comfort in this architecture was raised and discussed. The fundamental equations governing thermal exchanges have been concretized by an implicit finite difference method, based on the nodal procedure. The system of algebraic equations obtained was solved by the iterativeGaussian method. The results of the numerical simulation have shown that the material currently used in the construction of this architecture of Adrar region, as well as the current climatological conditions, are the main causes of the thermal discomfort.","PeriodicalId":39095,"journal":{"name":"Advances in Systems Science and Applications","volume":"19 1","pages":"63-79"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41502758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
