Hydrogen is a promising alternative to fossil fuels since it has high calorific value and zero carbon emission after consumption. The vision of hydrogen economy may be the game changer in the energy sector and is encouraged via environmentalists as per the commitments made during the Paris Agreement. It is a green alternative that may help in reducing the human's dependence on fossil fuels and in regulating the global temperatures. The three main areas that need a rigorous attention are the hydrogen production, storage, and utilization techniques. This short review highlights the current trends and obstacles in the commercialization of hydrogen production, storage, and utilization techniques.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"196 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116368444","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their number grew rapidly during the past decade. But the statistics still alarming as many of them fail and seize to continue. This study tries to identify key constraints that deter young people from starting and running their own businesses and tries also to identify incentives and stimuli that might encourage young people to engage in entrepreneurial projects. For a quantitative research, 30 complete questionnaires were analyzed. The sample represented successful start-ups that worked within an incubator at a university in Greater Cairo during the last 2 years and managed to become independent afterwards. The results of the study suggest that lack of financial resources is the most important challenges in starting a new venture, combined with difficulty in dealing with government officers. In light of the above-mentioned result, a set of recommendations were drafted to guide universities' efforts to offer a more efficient support to young entrepreneurs.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116481888","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objective of this paper is to determine the most frequently used oil viscosity (µo), formation volume factor (βo), and gas solubility (Rs) PVT properties of Yemeni reservoirs using the bottom hole fluid samples from different wells such as Well-BSWS-1, Well-BSWS-2, Well-BSWS-3, and Well-BSWS-4. Both Fuzzy Logic (FL) technique and a set of statistical error analysis were used to validate and compare the performance and accuracy of the generated reservoir fluid properties correlations. A total of 200 data sets of different crude oils from Yemeni reservoirs were used. The accuracy of the new Fuzzy Logic (FL) was compared with existing real measured bottom hole fluid samples data sets. The graphical plots showed that the predicted oil viscosity, formation volume factor, and gas solubility Fuzzy Logic curves have excellent matching with the experimental curves.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116924859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Personalization is instrumental in two ways - First to understand the uniqueness of need of the individual consumer and second to tailor offerings to meet the need. There are personalization techniques in place in case of brick-and-motor stores, where sellers get to know the need and offer the suitable product or service. In the case of e-commerce, technology can play an important role in customizing the web content, design, interface, and overall atmospherics as per the preferences of each customer. There are studies based on personalization of mobile applications and social commerce. There are very few studies available on the role of personalization in web context that creates the urge to buy green products and lead to online green buying. The current study will focus to understand the antecedents of website personalization that creates the urge to buy green products and services. A conceptual model of the relationship between website personalization and urge to green purchasing is presented. The study will contribute in the understanding of the website related factors and will help the marketers to adapt suitable strategies for better personalization, engagement and green purchase. Both theoretical and practical implications are discussed for academicians and practitioners.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114350837","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The utilization of fossil fuels on a massive scale is not environmentally friendly and posing threats to global warming. CH4 and CO2 are the two major greenhouse gases (GHGs) that are mainly responsible for the greenhouse effect. Gas reforming techniques are promising alternatives to utilize the two GHGs and produce alternative sources of fuel such as syngas and hydrogen. Steam, dry and bireforming of methane are the three main gas reforming processes that can be used for hydrogen and syngas production. These gas reforming reactions are highly endothermic in nature; hence catalyst development is another aspect that is still persistent. The SRM reaction is an extensively used and accepted method for hydrogen production due to its comparatively lower activation energy requirement than BRM and DRM. However, DRM can be a promising technique to produce syngas, since the syngas produces is with H2: CO of unity. The syngas produced by DRM can be used directly in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis to produce higher hydrocarbons.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114474640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Whether the applied strategies are effective measures was unconvincing, as the amount of emission kept increasing. Therefore, this study focused on identifying the roles of market-based regulation on the renewable energy sector, particularly biogas. By employing qualitative content analysis from desks and a systematic literature review, this study was conducted to address the implication of emission incentives and taxation to the biogas market in Indonesia. The result showed that the absence of a clear baseline, price, and trade flow are the main obstacles to maximizing co-benefits between these two terms. Maintaining sustainability and low carbon footprint at every stage of biogas production is also challenging. However, the biogas sector has great potential to get into those market schemes by making its various utilizations as tradable commodities.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117206882","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To meet this demand, a Vapor Compression Cooling (VCC) is generally used in the cooling of air conditioning. The technology of Solar Cooling of Air SCA was used in this work to minimize the consumption of energy in Jordan, as well as to minimize the emission of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) that accompanies the burning of fossil fuel during the consumption of energy. The economic feasibility was analyzed in this work which has been done on the two scenarios of the system used. The RETScreen® software was used to perform the economic analysis of the proposed scenarios. The simulations results showed the relevance of the economic feasibility with a tariff of electricity, this is in addition to the reduction of emission compared with those (VCC) use electricity.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129400597","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Schools are influential spaces where students' awareness is raised with respect to the importance of cultural heritage. Moreover, the interior design of the school environment can also allow students to learn about the significance of traditional culture and local educational systems, while creating their own social identity. This research investigates four case studies that document the different approaches of renovating heritage schools in Bahrain, the UAE and Turkey. The design methods found within these cases are analyzed and combined to develop a proposed model of new type of school system to renovate traditional schools of cultural values using advanced technological techniques and makes them livable cultural museums. The paper presents the results of comparative studies in the fields of identification, preservation, and presentation of cultural heritage. The research uses a qualitative approach to analyze the case studies and finds design guidelines that can be combined and simulated in a hybrid heritage school proposal in Bahrain. The purpose of this study is to understand the narrative of educational system development in Bahrain and how the information can be reinterpreted to preserve cultural heritage content using a sensorial experience within the simulated and modeled project. The research results a design guideline to establish a hybrid design approach that combines technologies and values of interior design to maintain schools of cultural values when a process of traditional school renovation is in action. The study contributes to the body of knowledge with a framework that can be used to renovate heritage schools not just locally but on international levels as well to achieve interactive sensorial experience.","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133973382","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It contributes to job creation and participates in the growth of the economy. At the Doukkala level, it is the main crop in the agricultural rotation system. The main objective of this study is the estimation by remote sensing of root weight yields and sugar richness of this crop, based on empirical statistical relationships between yield and vegetation indices, and this for three spatial resolutions: 10m (Sentinel-2), 15m (pansharpned Landsat8) and 30m (Landsat 8). The vegetation indices that have a positive relationship with sugar beet crop yields are NDVI, NDWI, and NVI. Concerning crop yield root weight, the prediction results were still moderate; NDVI of Sentinel-2 (R2 = 0.496), NDVI of Landsat-8 (15m) (R2 = 0.340) NDWI of Landsat 8 (30m) (R2 = 0.400). For sugar richness, the annual sum of NVI (sentinel-2) and NDVI (Landsat-8, 30m) the prediction results values were R2 = 0.350 and R2 = 0.227, respectively, while NVI (Landsat-8, 15m) has a prediction value of R2 = 0.543. In conclusion, NDVI from Sentinel-2 allowed a better prediction of root weight yield with an RMSE prediction error of 9.93 t.ha-1; whereas for sugar content prediction the best value with an RMSE of 0.75% was obtained using NVI from Landsat-8(15m).","PeriodicalId":389608,"journal":{"name":"2021 Third International Sustainability and Resilience Conference: Climate Change","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122373548","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
