It solves the issue of differences, which arise when setting the existing lighting systems without daylight and their subsequent operation in dimming to a constant illuminance level with the presence of daylight. This issue is addressed in the paper by means of modelling the illuminance systems of the artificial lighting and CIE overcast sky producing different illuminance of an outdoor, unscreened surface. The modelling took place based on the contributions of the equally cloudy sky to the interior. The article analyses the influence of the location and reception characteristics of the light sensor on the course of illuminance and the uniformity by solving the interior spaces at various levels of outdoor lighting. Primarily, the simplest types of lighting systems dimmed as a whole based on the input of one illuminance sensor were modelled there.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. This is caused by the fact that traditional broad band and omnidirectional light sources used are being replaced by high intensity sources with a specific directional light intensity distribution. At the same time the importance of LED lighting quality assurance is increasing as this new type of lighting is currently replacing traditional light sources in many applications. The specifics of an integrating sphere-spectroradiometer measurement system require the calibration with the use of a reference standard with known Spectral Radiant Flux Distribution, Luminous flux as well as the Luminous Intensity Distribution (LID) to compensate for the sphere system nonuniform reflectance properties. This way the accuracy of the sphere system calibration will allow to measure various types of LED products in conformance with the EN 13032-4:2015, LED lamps, modules and luminaires modules, lamps regardless of their spatial distribution properties. This paper will cover basic concepts and details of a novel method of Total Spectral Radiant Flux (TSRF) realization and description of a TSRF standard facility developed for the Russian National Metrology Institute - VNIIOFI, Moscow. The method (and the developed facility) is based on a goniospectroradiometer system traceable to a standard Black Body and allowing the calibration of a light source in terms of TSRF and additionally providing LID data of the source.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. The white and red channels were controlled independently enabling continuous spectral tuning of the panel. The electrical and photometric parameters were measured as a function of driving current of red and white LED arrays. The measurement data indicate that the color rendering metrics of the panel reach a maximum as the ratio of the red emission increases. In our work trade-offs between luminous efficacy and color quality is discussed.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. The advantage of straight vertical light pipes is that they transport light into interior spaces from the whole sky vault independently on solar azimuth. So mainly at higher solar altitudes and under clear sky conditions they can significantly contribute to better daylight availability in buildings. The optical efficiency of a light pipe strongly depends on number of reflections of the light beams between the particular interfaces. There are available some numerical tools based on ray-tracing algorithms that enable to calculate the efficiency with high precision under given conditions. However, such calculations are adequately time-consuming and so non-attractive for routine (mass) modelling. This contribution presents an analytical method for prediction of the optical efficiency of straight light-pipes which is applicable on 15 types of sky luminance defined by CIE. Due to the analytical approach, the calculation is very fast. The method is validated by accurate numerical simulations for all the sky types and at various pipe aspect ratios. Mainly in the extreme cases of clear and overcast sky, the results are in good agreement.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. Companies protect their property against potential damage and theft and also want to have information about who, when and where was located. These systems are especially used to protect strategic objects whose threat or destruction would have an obvious impact on a society. This group of buildings clearly includes electric stations where the eventual shutdown or destruction would result in a power outage in the regions or a total blackout of the whole country. Therefore, when designing security and camera systems, consideration should be given to all possibilities of space disturbance and to designing the system so that any intruder can be detected in time. In this paper, we will deal in detail with the watchdog lighting system of an electric station that works together with camera systems TSFO. At the very beginning, the right choice of security cameras is essential - they should have a sufficient sensitivity and a resolution to detect objects properly in both day and night hours. The designing of a watchdog lighting system is necessary for the camera system TSFO to work reliably and to provide expected information. The watchdog lighting system is designed with respect to the position and height of the monitoring cameras and by this calculation is set the height of the luminaires, their pitch and the appropriate type and power of the luminaire. At present, most of the lighting systems are provided by LED lights, which, compared to the high-pressure sodium lamps, have many benefits, mainly in the wide range of luminance curve characteristics. The subject of this article is a measuring of watch lighting system in the site of the electric station TR Cechy střed, which uses high-pressure sodium lamps for watchdog lighting system as well as the design of optimization of this lighting system by using LED luminaires capable of distributing the camera lighting component throughout the whole range of the monitored area between the lighting points.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. For the analysis of traffic accidents a detailed data of traffic accidents from the statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic in the time period from 2013 to 2017 are used. Traffic accidents are analysed according to the location of the accident, i.e. a straight road section, a road curve, an traffic junction, time interval during the night hours, the road category, the size of the municipality or the severity of the accident. The number of traffic accidents in municipalities during public lighting operation is also compared with the total number of traffic accidents during the day and outside municipalities. The results of the analysis will be used in the selection system of lighting classes for each traffic road category, for setting the parameters in the conflict area and it will be used also for setting rules for adaptive lighting levels during night hours.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. A single halogen lamp, six compact fluorescent lamps and six LED light sources were examined. A traditional light bulb was also examined for comparison. All lamps operated in three luminaires. The basic evaluation criterion was the illuminance, uniformity and glare limitation in the place of work. It was found that not all light sources can be considered substitutes of traditional light bulbs. In the case of a luminaire made from a translucent material and one luminaire with a reflector, not all lamps allowed to obtain at least the same lighting parameters in the place where visual work was performed, as when a traditional light bulb was used.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII. The commercial offer is very wide and diverse, both as to the types of lamps and their prices. Usually, when buying a lamp, the user is guided by the price and parameters given on the packaging. Unfortunately, all parameters on the product packaging only constitute the manufacturer's declaration and do not always correspond to actual parameters. The basic requirements for non-directional lamps for home use are contained in the regulations of the Commission of the European Community. However, only the initial parameters are usually verified. Due to the long duration of measurements, operational parameters are not controlled each time. The article presents the results of tests and analysis of initial parameters and the lamp lumen maintenance factor of selected non-directional lamps for home use after a defined period of operation. The quality of the tested lamps was assessed.","PeriodicalId":389317,"journal":{"name":"2018 VII.
