Properly designed luminaires are also able to meet the standard requirements for its high energy efficiency. In this research it was checked how the measurement accuracy of luminaire luminous intensity distribution curve are impact on accuracy of road lighting calculations. The calculations were performed for several typical road luminaires. The Influence of Luminaire Photometric Data Accuracy on Road Lighting Calculations Quality
Road luminaires are improving visual comfort during the night driving which has impact on road safety.
