The people's health was threatened by an invisible enemy, which caused chaos among the citizens who were tried by doubtful and contradictory feelings. China was the first country to combat this unseen virus, imposing rigorous measures to control this pathogen's spread. The outbreak of this pandemic occurred in Wuhan (the most populated city in the center of China) on December 12th, 2019. The first sign of the pandemic was a type of pneumonia, appearing due to unknown causes, to which existing treatments have not proven effective. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared that the coronavirus outbreak had become a pandemic..","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"121 S158","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139006402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is believed that a professionally integrated person with disabilities has a higher overall satisfaction level. However, there are other variables that influence the well-being of any individual, not only those with disabilities. Additionally, job satisfaction or dissatisfaction can significantly impact a person's overall quality of life. Furthermore, impairments, limitations in activities, and participation restrictions can affect the quality of life, considering their awareness. Thus, young individuals with intellectual disabilities who are employed may have a different perception of their well-being depending on their awareness of social relationships at the workplace as well as relationships outside the employing institution. In this regard, with the support of the management of the „Albatros” Inclusive Education Center in Constanta, we aimed to identify the quality of life of graduates employed in the workforce and to identify the variables that influence their well-being. The tools used included the Quality of Life Inventory, which is a questionnaire measuring the importance and satisfaction level regarding key aspects of life. Additionally, we used a brief screening tool to identify employed graduates, interview methods, and discussions.","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"23 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139004028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerous authors have demonstrated that at the basis of good educational management, a primary role is played by the profile and character traits of the person in charge of the leadership position at the level of the school unit. The paper also contains the results of a personal research, through which I proposed to investigate self-esteem, perseverance, personal autonomy, self-acceptance and acceptance of others, and, within current managers and future educational managers. The research was carried out using a set of questionnaires containing: personal autonomy assessment questionnaire, Rosenberg self-esteem interpretation questionnaire, 1965, the scale of acceptance of others, and, the Emanuel M self-acceptance scale. Berger and the interpretation questionnaire of the level of perseverance. The research was attended by 40 people of different ages, including 20 current managers and 20 emerging managers. The paper is organized in three chapters, the first two of which approach the theoretical part, related to character, character traits, but also what it means to be an educational manager, and the third is the practical part, the research part, where we presented the objectives, the assumptions, the sample, the methodology used and the results of the research, the, where we compared the results obtained by managers and future managers in terms of character traits.","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"8 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139004946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sport anxiety and sport performance were also investigated, as well as exploring sport anxiety to reduce it and increase athletes' sport performance. Regarding this, three online questionnaires were administered to a group of 90 athletes (48 from individual sports and 42 from team sports) of both female and male gender, for a period of 6 months. The team sports were basketball and football and the individual sports were gymnastics, martial arts and wrestling. The respective questionnaires represented the research instruments and were as follows: ASQ, Rosemberg and CSAI 2. The research aimed to find out through the results obtained whether anxiety in its forms, as a characteristic, or cognitive influences positively or negatively the performance outcomes of athletes. At the same time, it was found that self-esteem represents an important factor in helping to reduce cognitive anxiety, and even more importantly, it helps athletes to use anxiety effectively. It has been found that sports performance is affected by anxiety, especially in elite athletes, who feel a major pressure on their way to competitive success. Correlations between the ASQ and subscales of the CSAI-2 test found that anxious individuals already have a background for developing greater sport anxiety, interpreting certain situations negatively, compared to individuals who are more positive.","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"60 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138976479","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dynamics of the construction sector, manifested by the constant demand for innovative structures and the desire of individuals to live in spaces that reflect the latest trends, generate fierce competition among investors to propose novel architectural solutions. This situation is driving construction professionals to constantly improve their skills and adapt to new challenges. This study highlights the importance of comprehensively investigating the skills of construction workers, particularly in terms of spatial and concentration skills, which are essential for performance in this profession. From a structural perspective, the dissertation addresses two fundamental dimensions: a theoretical framework and an applied component. The applied section is divided into a chapter on research methodology, where key concepts such as study objectives and hypotheses, sample selection according to established criteria, research design and applicable ethical norms are elucidated, and a chapter focusing on data analysis and interpretation, which encompasses a detailed examination of the hypotheses and culminates in relevant psychological interpretations.","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"30 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139005257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We show that the same method has several benefits when applied to other subject of learning, having a very formative component by being a student-centered technique. The present study was conducted with high education undergraduate students studying didactics of mathematics, in the program that prepares teachers for primary and kindergarten education. By conducting various tasks, students have perceived the importance of the subject, have constructed applications that can be used in the teaching activity and have discussed which teaching methods are best applied in the topics that are taught in primary and preschool education. The finds show that tasks are enjoyable, well perceived by students, engaged multiple emotions and developed much needed skills for a 21st century teacher. In addition, by working in groups, discussing the best way to conduct tasks, motivation can be boosted and support the learning processes.","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"238 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139006016","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study aims to identify and analyze statistically significant differences in these traits, exploring the impact of the father's absence. Hypotheses are formulated, and a Zukerman-Kuhlman Test is used on a sample of 60 participants aged 18-25, living with their parents. Results confirm differences in neuroticism and aggression based on father's work location but find no significant difference in impulsive sensation-seeking. The study suggests that father absence during childhood may contribute to higher neuroticism and anxiety in adulthood, with potential links to increased aggression. The impact depends on factors like duration, frequency, and the child's age, emphasizing the importance of active parental involvement to mitigate negative effects.","PeriodicalId":388718,"journal":{"name":"The „Black Sea” Journal of Psychology","volume":"44 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139004534","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
