In particular, to mitigate the inter-cell interference, we propose a coalition game (CG) for clustering small cells with the utility function to be the ratio of signal to interference. Then, resource allocation is divided into two sub-problems such as sub-channel allocation (SCA) and power allocation (PA). We use the Hungarian method, which is efficient for solving binary optimization problems, for assigning the sub-channels to users in each cluster of SBSs. Additionally, an iterative algorithm to solve the convex optimization is provided to maximize the network sum-rate. Numerical results prove that the game-based clustering method outperforms the traditional clustering method (with and without PA optimization) and random clustering method in terms of the sum-rate.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115235024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the challenge of this trend compromises the coil’s efficiency due to higher conduction loss. Conventional inductors for domestic induction heating applications are made of multi-stranded litz wires, which reduce considerable losses. Therefore, developing a litz wire structure for printed circuit board (PCB) windings is interesting. Developing a technique to implement litz wire in a standard PCB is a priority objective of this work. This research analysis on two main factors was causing the losses heating based on the comparison between three types of PCB coils: solid, stranded, litz wires, and then comparing the factor to the power of the heating system. Three-dimensional finite element modeling (FEM) was performed for a straightforward method of designing and analyzing PCB litz coil with electromagnetic, transient, and thermal simulation. Finally, a prototype of the PCB is fabricated and measured to verify the manufacturing and modeling process.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116906646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aiming to improve the user’s uplink channel quality, we consider the scenario of deploying the maximal-ratio-combining (MRC) or selection-combining (SC) at the base station and selecting one optimal RIS among a set of distributed RISs. In particular, we derive the closed-form and asymptotic expressions for the outage probability (OP) under two scenarios of RIS with random phase-shift (RPS) and optimal phase-shift (OPS). Numerical results showed that by employing MRC and configuring OPS, the system achieves the best performance. For a small number of antenna settings, the SC-OPS scheme can provide better outage performance when compared to the MRC-RPS one. Finally, we provide Monte-Carlo simulation results to validate the accuracy of the theoretical analyses.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126146577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Firstly, the mathematical model and characteristics of this economical topology are described. Then, the space vector PWM algorithm is designed to control the output voltage, and the hysteresis comparator to balance the voltage of the flying capacitor is presented. Finally, simulation results under different load conditions have shown good output performance of the proposed asymmetric 3-level topology. Similar tests are also performed on both conventional 2-level and 3-level inverters for comparison. The obvious benefit of the asymmetric 3-level inverter is a fewer number of switches devices while it can achieve output performance similar to that of the conventional 3-level.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116614873","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, facilitating their co-design without using 50ohm matching network (MN), and make the design compact and low cost. As compared to the traditional MN approach, the co-design offers improvement in the LNA’s (realized using the IHP 0.13 um BiCMOS) transfer gain S21, and noise Figure NF. By taking a physics-based equivalent circuit model for ‘Antenna-LNA’ sub-system, and carrying out small-signal, theoretically predicted S-parameters were found closely matched with corresponding simulated results. The Figure-of-Merit (FoM) involving S21, noise Figure NF, and power consumption PDC was found to be significantly higher for SiGe BiCMOS than a previously reported results using the advanced silicon CMOS technology.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123933244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of those problems is the methods of diagnosing, detecting, and classifying faults in the solar panel system. Indeed, such methods are being widely studied with the aim of improving power quality, reliability and as well as ensuring safety when operating solar PV systems. Solar panels are one of the most important elements of a solar power system and by itself there are always problems that can be mentioned such as short circuit fault, open circuit fault, aging condition, discolor, cracks on the surface, … This paper will focus on researching a new method combining I-V curve analysis of solar cells and artificial intelligence algorithms in solar cell fault detection and classification. The failures that can be detected and classified in this study include short circuit, partial shading and hybrid fault. In order to recognize certain faults, the data are firstly simulated and analyzed on the change of I-V characteristics. Then, Principal Components Analysis (PCA) algorithm is introduced to reduce the dimensionality of the data sets and by comparing the changes of parameters with the SVM model, the system will predict the number of solar panels with which type of fault in a solar cell branch. Overall, the research has gathered 680 samples in total and the result shows positive outcomes since the accuracy of recognizing exceeds 90%.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121776279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The traversal of NAT with static port translation is solved in many cases by the Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN) protocol. Nevertheless, it does not cover the traversal of progressing symmetric and random symmetric NAT, which make it necessary to correctly predict opened ports. This paper presents a method for predicting (a) progressing symmetric NAT-translated ports based on a network traffic model and the Expected Value Method, and (b) random symmetric NAT-translated ports based on heuristics between monitored and opened ports across numerous traversal attempts. Tests were conducted in German cities using local cellular communication providers. Compared to established approaches, they yielded considerable improvements traversing progressing symmetric NAT and slight improvements traversing random symmetric NAT in real-world environments.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134505500","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it is paid for by significantly increasing the complexity of the S-box implementation in hardware. This paper proposes a masking method based on the inversion in the tower field to cope with that problem. The experimental results show that the proposed method assures security against CPA up to 30,000 traces with the AES-TFM-2 scheme and more than 12,660 traces with the AES-TFM-1 one. There is a trade-off between the security level and the hardware implementation cost of the two proposed schemes. However, the technique reduces that cost considerably compared to existing approaches, and it is also secured against zero-value attacks.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127428357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We need functional network models that are able to produce accurate prediction of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as latency, overall delay, jitter or packet loss at low cost. Graph Neural Networks (GNN) have already shown great potential for network performance prediction, because of their ability to understand the network configurations. In this paper, we focus on improving the generalization capabilities of GNN in relatively complex IP transport network scenarios of future generation networks. We take RouteNet GNN as a reference model and present an alternative GNN. We train both models with relatively smaller network scenarios while for evaluation we use complex and large network configurations. After hyper-parameter tuning for RouteNet and proposed GNN, the results show that our model outperforms baseline architecture in evaluation phase. The validation losses for scenarios not seen during training phase, are significantly lower than the RouteNet.","PeriodicalId":388547,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Communications and Electronics (ICCE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116827337","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
