Geotechnical Engineering Slope Monitoring Based on Internet of Things 基于物联网的岩土工程边坡监测

A multi parameter remote monitoring system based on the technology of Internet of things </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wa</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s proposed.</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">By combining GPS locator with several sensor instruments, many parameters, such as ground displacement, deep displacement, groundwater level, stress and strain, </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">we</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">re collected.</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Through the Internet of things technology, the key data </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">we</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">re transmitted to the monitoring room. The wireless transmission of the monitoring data </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wa</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s completed. Using information fusion technology, database management and Web service, the monitoring data </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">we</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">re classified and managed.</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Through the data analysis, the reliability theory </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wa</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s used to predict the slope. Finally, the rock and soil engineering slope monitoring based on the Internet of things </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wa</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s verified.</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">The results show</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">ed</span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> that the stability of the slope </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">wa</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">s influenced by many factors. At the same time, the effectiveness and accuracy of monitoring data </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">we</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">re important for slope prediction. The extended review of this paper showed that extra costs are the most important factors in the survival of an organization and have a significant impact on company competitiveness. However, holding inventory, order acceptance, and functional risks are factors that have not been studied simultaneously. The purpose of this paper is to provide a review on critical problems and factors in order and inventory models under supply chain management. This paper selected and reviewed 56 published articles in a decade through 30 famous relevant journals which were chosen from the “Science direct and Scopus” databases. Amongst 56 articles, “International Journal of Production Economics” was ranked as the first by 11 published articles. In this regard, the applications of the Artificial Neural Network method which called “ANN”, ant colony algorithm and queue theory have been proposed. All published articles were categorized based on the author number, The first author name, publication year, problems, factors, type of manufacturing industries, research methods and results and findings. Results of this paper acknowledge that order management and inventory control can help decision makers and researchers in solving some problems in manufacturing industries.","PeriodicalId":387853,"journal":{"name":"Int. The experimental results show that the receivers of the system can successfully capture the timing packets issued by the broadcast beacon within 200 meters and simultaneously adjust their local clocks according the timing packets. The time synchronization error between the receivers is less than 410 microseconds. The circuit design scheme of the time synchronization experimental system proposed in this paper may be taken as technical reference for the planning and designing of low cost, miniaturization and high accuracy nodes in wireless sensor networks.","PeriodicalId":387853,"journal":{"name":"Int. At the same time, IOT also presents many challenges, one of which is node localization, i.e. how to determine the geographical position of each sensor node. Algorithms have been proposed to solve the problem. A popular algorithm is Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) because it is simple to implement and needs relatively less computation. However, PSO is easily trapped into local optima and gives premature results. In order to improve the PSO algorithm, this paper proposes the EHPSO algorithm based on Novel Particle Swarm Optimization (NPSO) and Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization (HPSO). The EHPSO algorithm applies the principle of best neighbor of each particle to the HPSO algorithm. Simulation results indicate that EHPSO outperforms HPSO and NPSO in evaluating accurate node positions and improves convergence by avoiding being trapped into local optima.","PeriodicalId":387853,"journal":{"name":"Int. The present work comprises a description of an immersive VR interface developed under the scope of Civil Engineering and an ongoing educational programme, Educational Lab - Big Machine. The project intends primarily, to disseminate Civil Engineering amongst pre-university students, simultaneously providing new tools for enhancing students’ motivation and decreasing early school leaving. With the establishment of WSNs energy consumption model, the paper evaluates the network life cycle and analyses the influence of node spacing and residual energy of node on WSNs, by adopting which as the fitness functions of the model, a scale-free fault tolerance topology evolving model with link deletion mechanism is constructed. The simulation comparison shows that the topology structure of the improved model has significant scale-free characteristics, a balanced network energy consumption and a long network life cycle; it can also effectively increase the fault tolerance and intrusion tolerance of network.","PeriodicalId":387853,"journal":{"name":"Int. It studies the effects of topology parameter and load in case of random node failure in the network node cascading failure, and utilizes the theoretical derivation method to derive the structural feature of scale-free topology and the capacity limit for the WSNs large-scale cascading failure, effectively enhancing the cascading fault tolerance of traditional WSNs. The simulation test results show that, with the degree distribution parameter C increasing, the minimum network node degree will increase accordingly, and in highly intensive topology, the dynamic fault tolerance will be better; with the parameter λ increasing, the maximum degree of the network node will gradually decrease, and the degree distribution of topology structure tends to be uniform, so that the large-scale cascading failure caused by node failure will have less influence on the WSN, and further improve the dynamic fault tolerance performance of the system.","PeriodicalId":387853,"journal":{"name":"Int. The environmental factors such as temperature-humidity and soil humidity are the key influencing factors on crop growth, therefore, how to rapidly and accurately acquire the environmental information of crop growth and learn about their real-time growing environment is of vital importance. The wireless sensor networks (WSN) can make real-time environmental information acquisition as well as communication and processing of network environmental data. Based on this, the RSSI range-based positioning method was optimized in this paper in order to greatly improve its precision. To be specific, in this study, the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm was firstly applied in the hybrid mutation strategy to make more accurate node positioning and significantly improve the evolutionary performance by enlarging the hunting zone; besides, through the use of WSN, the influencing parameters on crop growth such as soil humidity, and temperature-humidity etc. would be monitored; finally, to realize the precise location and derive the unseeded nodes, GPS was applied for accurate positioning, and the intelligence algorithm was adopted to determine the coordinate position of unknown nodes. At last, the actual field test indicates that the designed monitoring system in this paper satisfies the requirements for precise measurement, playing a positive role in promoting the development of precision agriculture.","PeriodicalId":387853,"journal":{"name":"Int. For this purpose, a gantry crane management subsystem was designed and implemented for container information management based on the wireless sensor network (WSN). The system consists of a set of desktop management software and three different types sensor nodes, and locates the container via the two-way symmetrical time-of-arrival (TS-TOA) positioning approach. In this way, the subsystem enhances the accuracy of container positioning without elevating hardware cost. Through the implementation of the hardware and software systems, it is proved that the user can successfully locate the container, read and update cargo information, and complete similar operations through human-computer interaction in the desktop management software.
