Alongside modern RPA (Robotic Process Automation) systems, which bring various AI methods into the administration of industrial processes, advanced diagnostic and maintenance systems are a logical complement for the digital era of smart factories. This paper focuses on the introduction of a developed expert system used to help diagnose mobile robotic platforms during daily use.","PeriodicalId":38731,"journal":{"name":"Gong Cheng Li Xue/Engineering Mechanics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48060468","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three plasticity models were employed, with various numbers of material parameters and, therefore, complexity. The influence of simplifying the three-dimensional geometry into the plane was researched in the view of force response, deformation and stress state in the crack initiation location, which was in the centre of the specimen.","PeriodicalId":38731,"journal":{"name":"Gong Cheng Li Xue/Engineering Mechanics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47331353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consideration of uncertainties, therefore, remains usually at the level of partial safety factors, the approach which is in most cases on the very conservative side. That is why alternative techniques of so-called safety formats are becoming more and more attractive recently. Methods focused on the Estimation of Coefficient of Variation (ECoV) of structural resistance have been developed and applied recently. They represent a compromise between the simple and in most cases conservative approach of partial safety factors and highly computationally demanding MC simulation. Semi-probabilistic methods have been applied for structural resistance assessment, but not for the action effects side. The paper shows the possibility of application of these methods for action effect – load side of safety margin. Selected efficient semi-probabilistic methods based on the ECoV method according to fib Model Code 2010 and an improved approach called Eigen ECoV, are utilized. The application of approaches for the assessment of concrete tunnel linings is shown.","PeriodicalId":38731,"journal":{"name":"Gong Cheng Li Xue/Engineering Mechanics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48994595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To respect dynamic effects of the flow in bulged pores, where the advection term of the acceleration is important, two time scales are considered and an appropriate time scaling of the fast-slow dynamics is introduced in a proportion to the spatial scaling. The two-scale homogenized problem is nonlinear by the consequence of the advection term in the flow model. Further nonlinearity is introduced by deformation-dependent homogenized coefficients of the macroscopic equations. For this, a linear expansions based on the sensitivity analysis of the homogenized coefficients with respect to the deformation induced by the macroscopic quantities is employed.","PeriodicalId":38731,"journal":{"name":"Gong Cheng Li Xue/Engineering Mechanics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48849560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal of the research was to determine the values and profiles of the forces that occur during the penetration of real tissues with a needle intended for use during amniocentesis. The data on force exerted during puncture was measured in relation to insertion into organic material from domestic pigs, a mammal similar in size and mechanical properties of tissues to humans. The results showed a local increase in the force value when piercing the skin and the uterine wall. The findings prove the usability of measurements done on porcine tissues for at least initial planning of the medical training devices.","PeriodicalId":38731,"journal":{"name":"Gong Cheng Li Xue/Engineering Mechanics","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47698833","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
