Seo","doi":"10.55937/sut/1314884046","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.55937/sut/1314884046","url":null,"abstract":"In this paper, we propose a new definition for multivariate kurtosis based on the two measures of multivariate kurtosis defined by Mardia (1970) and Srivastava (1984), respectively. Under normality, the exact values of the expectation and the variance for the new multivariate sample measure of kurtosis are given. We also give the third moments for the sample measure of new multivariate kurtosis. After that standardized statistics and normalizing transformation statistic for the sample measure of a new multivariate kurtosis are derived by using these results. A pure algebraic method is used to solve a system of linear algebraic equations whose solutions satisfy a compatibility criterion and generate two first order differential operators factorizing the considered second order differ- ential operator. Concrete examples are probed, including special cases of Bocher ODEs like Heun, extensions of Wangerin and Heine's differential equations. In this paper, we investigate symmetry properties of lightlike hypersurfaces in indefinite Sasakian manifolds, tangent to the structure vector field. Theorems on locally symmetric, semi-symmetric and Ricci semi-symmetric lightlike hypersurfaces are obtained. We show that, under some conditions, these hypersurfaces are totally geodesic. The non-existence conditions of specific lightlike hypersurfaces are given. We prove, under a certain condition, that in lightlike hypersurfaces of an indefinite Sasakian space form, tangent to the structure vector field, the local symmetry and semi-symmetry notions are equivalent.
