Machining parameters were selected in order to obtain continuous variation of cutting speed at fixed feed ratio for given cutting depth. The hardness of samples after heat treatment carried out in a vacuum furnace (including quenching and double tempering) was 60 ±1 HRC. The influence of turning feed on surface topography after machining as well as selected tribological properties were determined. Depending on the surface topography of samples, differences between values of friction coefficients and wear rates were about 25%. Moreover, along with the surface roughness changing, different nature of wear was found.","PeriodicalId":38683,"journal":{"name":"Technische Mechanik","volume":"9 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91012110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
