Like Bioethics, technological innovations are recent, emerged in the twentieth century and since then, are on the rise. Artificial intelligence, once unimaginable, is now part of the everyday life of human beings, their tasks and their laser. In order to protect life and to appreciate ethical values, bioethical studies reach technological studies and, consequently, the progression of artificial intelligence in the social environment. Therefore, this chapter presents the following problem question: Is Bioethics a science that takes care of life, with a special look at human life, how can it be interrelated to the studies of artificial intelligence? The objective of this dissertation is to present Bioethics as a multidisciplinary and limiting field of study of issues that may harm or threaten life. It can cause abnormalities that can be identified on ultrasound or just at birth. It occurs equally in boys and girls and there is no racial predisposition, its incidence is from 1:2000 to 1:15,000 live births. In this context, the present study aims to present the case report of a female patient, seven years old, with amniotic band syndrome. The syndrome does not have an unclear etiology and pathophysiology. Cabral","doi":"10.29327/228628.2.2-7","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29327/228628.2.2-7","url":null,"abstract":": Self-mutilation and self-extermination constitute species of the self-destruction genre, which are situations in which the subject, usually, due to a psychic disorder, takes the initiative to attempt against his own life (self-extermination or suicide) or against his psychophysical integrity (self-injury or self-mutilation). This article intends to study the following problem: why the practice of self-mutilation in adolescents has occurred quite frequently among students, symptoms and what measures can help in the treatment? Many seek help and psychological treatment to restore their mental health, but others develop increasingly severe self-destructive tendencies. It is understood that in order to offer them with less negative impacts, it is necessary to rethink the relationship between people. In fact, a bioethical reflection begins, seeking to reach a conclusion about whether the embryo, in the context of human improvement, must have its dignity guaranteed and, therefore, not be a victim of objectification. However, it is a fact that practical situations may occur in which the handicapped person has limitations that prevent him from expressing his will, or his refusal clashes with the understanding of his curator, giving rise to conflicts between fundamental rights, which need to be solved and, to do so, the weighting technique must be used.
