Associationism is understood as a formalized expression of the estamental sociability capable of expressing, at the same time, the tensions and transformations experienced by those elites between 1870 and 1913. We analyze two local associations, the Social Club, founded in 1871 and still existing today, and the Ateneo de Cordoba (1894-1913), showing their similarities and differences in terms of profile of the members, objectives, activities and representations linked to each association. We argue that, in addition to functioning as mechanisms for constructing social distance, such associations revealed the internal fragmentation of the elite, insofar as they contributed to delimiting a specifically cultural or intellectual fraction within the more general social elite, defined by broader socio-economic criteria. While the Club incorporated members from all fractions, the Ateneo cut down on the universe of possible members. Hence, this can illuminate neglected aspects of the diversification of the elites at the turn of the century. Argumento que el acercamiento entre obreros y estudiantes no solo se construyo y desplego mediante sus vinculos politicos y sindicales. Debido a que la clase obrera no estaba aislada con respecto a los estudiantes y a la comunidad, su union tambien tuvo una articulacion sustantiva en lo cotidiano, que se evidencio en novedosas experiencias educativas y lazos familiares y vecinales que habilitaron una sociabilidad comun. Campos","doi":"10.19137/qs.v25i3.4381","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.19137/qs.v25i3.4381","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this article is to understand what place the representations of Marxism and the left occupied in Tacuara and its branch organizations, as part of a broader investigation of the Catholic, Marxist and nationalist groups identified with the Peronist left in the ‘60s. The text states that Marxism and the left were represented as a radical otherness with negative features, which operated as a constitutive exterior of the tacuarist identity itself. The conspiracy theory of universal government, or the cultural battle between Christianity and materialism, could not function without the specter of communism as a permanent and multiform threat. On the other hand, nationalist groups wanted to imitate the efficiency attributed to communism to infiltrate societies and colonize consciences. In this context, the concept of class struggle was problematized by Tacuara, and then incorporated by some of its subdivisions, which evidences the displacement of a culturalist nationalism to a more secularized one. To advance these formulations, will be analyzed the political press of Tacuara and its derivative groups, such as Tacuara. Furthermore, articles on Peronist groups that opposed the sector led by Montoneros have been published in the last fifteen years. In that line of inquiry, various investigations have considered provincial and local settings where intense factional conflicts arose inside the Peronist party. At the intersection of those historiographical questions, this research centers on the case of the Comando de Organizacion (CO) in the Province of Chaco during the period 1973-1976 and focuses on two conceptual issues. The first one, in line with some key theoretical principles provided by Carl Schmitt’s Theory of the Partisan, poses a description of the type of political violence inflicted by this organization. The second issue refers to the discussion about the use of the term right-wing Peronism to define diverse anti-Montoneros actors. Gandara","doi":"10.19137/QS.V25I2.4945","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.19137/QS.V25I2.4945","url":null,"abstract":"Between June 9 th and July 4 th , 1982, the \"Centro de Recuperacion del Personal de la Fuerza\" operated within Campo de Mayo, one of the places designed by the Argentinian Army to receive and isolate a few thousand officials, sub-officers and conscripted soldiers for a few days after returning from the Falklands War. Even if it is an experience limited in time and space, the hypothesis of this work is that its intensive study provides valuable aspects on at least two dimensions. On the one hand, it grants information on how the war experience began to be interpreted within the Argentine Army and how, in this context, control mechanisms and their borders were reimagined.
