The study mainly adopts the method of empirical research to prove the credibility of the views; it uses the method of comparative research to reveal the objectivity of inferences. In recent years, China's demand for wood products has increased significantly due to the rapid economic development. Russia is one of the largest suppliers of timber to China. After joining the World Trade Organization, China's forestry development has entered a new phase. Chinese timber companies are constantly seeking and expanding new exports to the international timber market in the face of fierce competition from the foreign partners. {"title":"Assessment of multiplier effects in the economy of the Khabarovsk territory: impact on the income of population","authors":"A. Belousova, M. Gritsko","doi":"10.22394/1818-4049-2022-101-4-69-78","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22394/1818-4049-2022-101-4-69-78","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of multiplier effects in the economy of the Far-Eastern federal district, generated by exogenous changes, on the household income. The Khabarovsk territory was chosen as a model region, which has a set of geographical, economic, social, including demographic, characteristics typical for the entire line of the Far-Eastern subjects of the Russian Federation. The main research method is a balance structural modeling based on the principles of national accounting methodology. Experimental assessment of the matrix of financial flows of the Khabarovsk territory is carried out, taking into account disaggregation of the household account, namely, distribution of the income by 20% (quintile) groups of population, ranked in ascending order of average per capita income. Using the matrix approach allows not only study systematically financial flows between the institutional units in the region, but also to conduct a quantitative analysis of the multipliers of exogenous aggregate demand, demand for the residents' products, demand for production factors (capital and labor). The time frame of the study covers the 2019-2020 biennium. The scientific interest in this period is explained by an attempt to assess changes in the influence of exogenous factors on the dynamics of incomes of the population, taking into account the effect of external shock in relation to the region - a pandemic caused by the spread of a new coronavirus infection. The obtained estimates identified in numerical terms the relationship between regional socio-economic dynamics and changes in the well-being of the population in the context of its individual income groups. An increase in 2020 relative to 2019 is shown in the sensitivity of household incomes in the region to exogenous changes in gross output and the production factor - labor; decrease - the output of the residents of the region and the factor of production - capital. As a discussion the approach to justifying the cost of consultations by comparing the cost of consultation with the average salary in the Khabarovsk territory of employees of the activity type «professional, scientific and technical activities (in accordance with the All-Russian classifier of types of economic activities, RC 029-2014). Structural analysis of the provided consulting services in the Khabarovsk territory made it possible to identify the most demanded services, as well as increasing interest in business consulting services. The relevance of creation of the «PROCampus» as a starting practice-oriented interuniversity platform for career guidance volunteers in Khabarovsk is dictated by the concept of «Lifelong education» that has developed in the modern education system as a desire for continuous acquisition of knowledge, passing various additional courses, trainings, internships. The idea of «PROCampus» is also relevant in connection with the demographic trend of the outflow of young people from the region. As one of the ways to solve the problem, an innovative form of centralization of educational resources in the interuniversity vocational guidance center for attracting applicants to the region is considered. The Far-Eastern academic science is a notable education on the world scientific map. The world recognition of Far-Eastern academic science was brought by the works of the outstanding Far-Eastern scientists, creators and leaders of scientific schools, many of whom have no analogues in the world. The birth of scientific schools is associated with the names of outstanding scientists who have made a significant contribution to the methodology for the development of promising, most relevant areas of science. In addition, the science school is a good communication channel for the teacher's personal communication with their students, continuers of scientific traditions, research methodology and the main achievements of the founder of the school. At present, there is a need to prepare a reference book that will reflect the main milestones in the history and activities of scientific schools and scientific areas of the Far-Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. When organizing the work on this topic, it is necessary to imagine not only what the phenomenon of scientific school is and how it should be studied, but also to identify how many scientific schools exist in the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who are their founders and leaders, to identify the most productive heads of scientific schools who have trained a significant number of students - candidates and doctors of sciences. One of the main problems for the regions of the Far-Eastern federal district in the post-Soviet period is the trend towards a decrease in the population of the macro-region due to the processes of irretrievable migration. The purpose of this article is to investigate reasons for the macro-region residents to make decisions about moving to another permanent place of residence, as well as to determine the most significant «pushing» factors that prompt such decision. Priori analysis of the influence of the regional social infrastructure state on the migration processes (on the example of the Khabarovsk territory) was adopted by the research method. As a result of the study, a list of the most significant factors has been formed that have a significant impact on the quality of population life and, accordingly, on adoption of the decisions on irretrievable migration. Baykov","doi":"10.22394/1818-4049-2023-102-1-88-100","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22394/1818-4049-2023-102-1-88-100","url":null,"abstract":"Social activity of the city residents, aimed at changing in the different spheres of their life, implemented both in the structures of civil society and in the political organizations, has acquired a sound in scientific discourse as «urban activism.» This term does not have an unambiguous definition, which makes it difficult to operationalize it for sociological measurement, but allows using a number of methodological approaches to study this phenomenon in the structure of civil society in the city of Khabarovsk. Based on the sociology of «social movements» (G. Bloomer) and the analysis of collective actions from the standpoint of frame theory (I. Hoffmann), the article attempted to analyze the results of sociological studies of public opinion of citizens, reflecting indicators of their social activity, involvement in the socio-political sphere and actions of the local authorities. It has been shown that the origins of the low civic and socio-political activity of the citizens are rooted in a state of their concern about the urgent life problems that require their solution. They serve as a driving force, on the one hand, due to dissatisfaction with the real form of life, and on the other, out of desires and hopes for some new structure of their existence. It is noted that the semantic framework and value guidelines in the collective actions of the city community, authorities and activists of political parties are often contradictory and paradoxical, giving rise to indifference and alienation from the population from involvement in collective social activities to change life for the better. When compiling demographic portrait and analyzing the prevailing demographic processes in the Russian Far East, statistical materials were used, and the dynamics series were compiled on the studied population problems in the region. Demographic situation in the context of the Far-Eastern subjects is analyzed on the basis of the dynamics of total population, the processes of its natural movement - fertility, mortality, age composition, life expectancy and migration movement within the framework of intraregional, interregional and external flows (with CIS countries and far abroad). Their role in formation of population dynamics in the region is shown. Based on the available official information and conclusions of the Far-Eastern scientists, proposals have been formulated that provide for the growth of natural reproduction of population, attraction, adaptation and consolidation of population in the Russian Far East. The article contains a large amount of the state statistical information, author's calculations and analysis of the dynamics of natural and migration movement of the population in the context of the subjects of the Far-Eastern federal district. The article presents data based on the official statistics on the prospective population in the Far-Eastern region until 2035.
