Tarigan","doi":"10.35472/281471","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35472/281471","url":null,"abstract":"Longshore sediment transport is one of the main factors influencing coastal geomorphology along the Krui Coast, Pesisir Barat of Lampung. Longshore sediment transport is closely related to the longshore current that is generated when waves break obliquely to the coast. The growth of waves depends upon wind velocity, the duration of the wind, and the distance over which the wind blow called fetch. The daily data of wind speed and direction are forecast from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). This study examines for predicting longshore sediment transport rate using empirical method. The wave height and period were calculated using Shore Protection Manual (SPM) 1984 method and the longshore sediment transport estimation based on the CERC formula, which also includes the wave period, beach slope, sediment grain size, and breaking waves type. Based on the use CERC formula it is known that from the Southeast direction (Qlst(1) ) the sediment transport discharge is 2.394 m3/s, in 1 (one) year the amount of sediment transport reaches 75,495,718 m3/s. Because Indonesia doesn't have any data of time history record, it is necessary to match the time history data with the design spectrum response. Gedung E Itera is modeled on reinforced concrete structures with open frame models like as built drawing. Then can be evaluated the structural behavior that is like mass participation, plastic design, displacement, rotation, and base shear with time history load that will be levelling (levelling time history). With levelling the time history load , it can be found the first structural part that collapses and the maximum load that can be retained by the structure for one of the mitigation effort. The analysis uses a nonlinear dynamic time history analysis with the most dominant combination is earthquake combination. The device is usually a cloak that works in macroscopic dimensions and for the entire visible spectrum. Addition with the full-field of light, no new materials, simple infrastructure, and scale easily may be considered an ‘ideal' cloaking device. This paper report of implementing ray optics cloaking formalism presented previously by Choi and Howell [1] using lenses design for cloaking arbitrarily large, and moving objects such as large vehicle. We apply their formalism using simulation and experiment scheme to general optical systems up to four convex lenses. Basically, brick is processed by mixing clay and water then burnt under high temperature for a certain duration. Previous study in Indonesia shows that mixing local clay with additional materials could improve its characteristic, especially in terms of water absorption potentiality. Lampung has home industries which run brick making business traditionally. Moreover, this year Indonesian government has been organizing regional elections which attract campaigners to produce more vinyl banners as advertising media. As the event has already passed, vinyl banners eventually become environmental issue since they are not yet well managed. The aim of this study is to investigate the possibility and effect of red bricks mixtures along with vinyl banner waste. Fired-clay bricks dimensions including length, width, and height are 19 cm, 9.5 cm, and 5 cm respectively. Measurement has done by employing water absorption tests. Waste-added bricks absorb more water than the conventional one, about 11% higher. However, rice-husk-ash-added bricks perform similar to the normal bricks, it has slow rate of water absorption. Absorption rate of waste-added bricks also fast and exceed the conventional and RHA-added bricks. Over the time, the population is increasing and the needs of reliable transportation network also increased. Transportation network consists of node and connector. According to the condition, the provision of reliable transportation network facilities should be able to optimize the node and the link. In the real condition, there's a gap between the existing transportation network conditions with the optimum transportation network conditions, as a result the existing transportation network is not able to serve the transportation movement that occurred. Based on this information, research entitled Development of Intersection Management Strategy Due to Opening of Sumatra Toll Road. The objective of this study are: a) Generating traffic flow through the Simpang Polsek Sukarame, Bandar Lampung. b) Evaluating the traffic composition through Simpang Polsek Sukarame, Bandar Lampung. c) Evaluating services intersection parameters needed in evaluating the intersection. d) Determining the intersection strategy of intersection due to the opening of the Sumatra Toll Road. The study is conducted by using Macroscopic Modeling approach using PTV Vissum application and microscopic evaluation using MKJI 1997. In the research, there are several types of data needed. These data are classified into primary and secondary data. Primary data required include: a) Traffic Counting Data, TC Data implemented at Simpang Polsek Sukarame. Traffic Counting data is used as a database for the validation of the transportation model. b) Road geometry data is taken at all connector of Simpang Polsek Sukarame. The Geometry consist of the road width and shoulder width. Geometry data is used for capacity calculation, delay, and saturation degree. From the results of transport modelling that will be evaluated the service level of the intersection based on the parameters of degree of saturation, delay, and speed of vehicles through the intersection. The Result of the model shows that The queue length increasing from 10.66 m to 16.64 m or increasing for around 60% and the average delay increasing from 7 s to 13.43 s or increasing around 95%. There are many research in autodrive vehicle such as waymo-the Google driving car project and Tesla Self Driving Autopilot. In This paper is presented about Autodrive Land Vehicle (ALV) control by using PID. The autodrive Land vehicle can drive autonomously by using GPS Information such as Latitude and longitude to navigate in an area. The vehicle is controled to follow the given waypoint that set by operator on ground control station. PID control is used to control steering of the vehicle’s front wheel and to control the heading of the vehicle. The subsurface data which provided is resistivity data laterally and vertically and able to be used to investigate the depth and thickness of bedrock. 35 points of 1D resistivity data had been collected in ITERA campus that covered ± 150 Ha. It concentrates at northern to middle part of ITERA campus. Schlumberger configuration was employed with minimum and maximum AB/2 was 2 and 150 meter respectively and 3 varied MN. Iso-resistivity maps show high apparent resistivity value was distributed laterally and vertically. High apparent resistivity value is indicated as a representative of bedrock. The high apparent resistivity zone (resistive zone) was shown in Iso-resistivity map AB/2 2.5 and consistently up to AB/2 15 with the range of high apparent resistivity value is 80.2 up to 210.8 ohmmeter. The aim of this research is to identify and inventory the vegetation database of plant, which can then be used as one of the important information related to the environmental change that happened from time to time following the impact of the growing development expansion. This study was conducted within the campus of the Institut Teknologi Sumatra (ITERA) which is undergoing physical construction in the form of buildings, roads, and some retention basin. Data retrieval was done by direct observation using the cruising method. The environment is less comfortable and effective in the learning process will affect student achievement. To overcome this, the Institute of Technology of Sumatra (ITERA) provides a new student dormitory which one of the place that can provide an effective learning environment because the coaching programs provided such as peer tutors aim to develop learning achievement in TPB Program. The relationship of coaching program in the dormitory to student achievement on First Year Stage Course (TPB) can be analyze use simple regression method. The data that used in this method are questionnaire, mid test score and final test, especially in Basic Mathematics.
