A survey was conducted covering 500 respondents associated with four retail outlets\u0000 selling green products and conventional products in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Factor analysis was first applied to the survey data to reduce the number of variables to be considered in the process of investigation without losing the significance of the explanatory power of variables. This led\u0000 to the extraction of the maximum common variance from all variables. Simple regression analysis was then carried out to understand the relationship between the dependent variable (purchase intention) and the independent variables (brand consciousness, perceived quality of products, price sensitivity\u0000 and product availability). The results show that brand consciousness, perceived quality of products, price sensitivity and product availability have significant effects on the purchase intention of consumers towards green products. In the past, smart city initiatives\u0000 may not have created desired impacts as these initiatives were limited in scope, focusing on physical digital integration of the underlying systems of cities and of their citizens. This article examines the success factors that affect the digitalization of smart cities based on secondary research.\u0000 To achieve smart cities’ core objectives of increasing quality of living, providing efficient and optimal services, thereby making the functioning of the city smart through digitalization, it is essential to look at these critical success factors, namely, sustainability, ecosystems and\u0000 digital citizen. The article points out important elements such as lack of governance of sustainability, methods and processes to enhance participation of digital citizens and inadequate knowledge about structures and value creation through ecosystems that would need to be addressed while\u0000 digitalizing smart cities. The research conducted: a bibliographic review of the methods of technological prospecting and wind energy; a patent analysis, presenting the current panorama of technologies in this sector;\u0000 and mapping of the technological evolution of wind turbines and a proposal of the future trends. The patent analysis identified 25,644 patent registrations from 2003 to 2012, showing a growth trend primarily in the United States and China, with significant representation of companies such\u0000 as General Electric and Mitsubishi. As defined by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), knowledge areas focused on patent application deposits cover mechanical engineering; lighting; heating; weapons; blasting; and electricity. The trends show that wind turbines of the future\u0000 are likely to be vertical and synchronous with the height of the turbine greater than 194m and rotor diameter greater than 164m, and that the power of a wind turbine will exceed 10 MW. The materials used in the blades will be nanomaterials with the characteristics of low density and high resistance\u0000 such as graphene. The literature has shown the existence of a real body and cohesion amongst the members of diasporas in the same country either at a regional\u0000 or at a global scale, which organize, cooperate and act with the country of origin. This has led to some considerable material and immaterial advantages for the countries of origin. This state of affairs illustrates an inter-connection of the networks among the members, scattered over the\u0000 four corners of the planet, but does not shed any light on the arrangement and functioning of the same networks within the country of origin. This research highlights the establishment of the Algerian business diaspora for the development of the entrepreneurship in Algeria. Beyond the business\u0000 opportunity and the development of investment, there is also evidence of a clear involvement in extra-professional associative activities aimed at supporting entrepreneurship in Algeria and more particularly the innovative entrepreneurship. This qualitative research is based on the interviews\u0000 of 36 entrepreneurs. The analysis of the interviews shows the existence of an innovative organization of networks and a hard core that is active in several forms of associations (Diaspora associations, Think-Tank, Business Angel, etc). The majority of these new businesses are very small and/or one-man businesses. Many of them turned out to be unsuccessful despite of some\u0000 entrepreneurs having been innovative. There are also many repatriated entrepreneurs (returners) who have tried to start a business in Algeria and have encountered similar difficulties and have therefore stopped their project midway. This article aims at understanding the impact of the Algerian\u0000 legal and business frameworks on the entrepreneurial dynamic. Indeed, as a rule, it seems that for many years, the entrepreneurs encountered rigid administrative procedures and many difficulties in securing human resources and sufficient funds for starting. This research also investigates\u0000 the factors that prevent entrepreneurs from continuing with their project. Our empirical investigation will focus more particularly on the entrepreneurs coming from the Algerian diaspora. This work demonstrates that entrepreneurs' perception about the business climate does not vary significantly\u0000 on both sides of the Mediterranean Sea, despite the continued implementation of structural reforms. This article aims to describe the\u0000 evolution of the higher education system at the country level through an analysis of national statistics gathered by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS). The current article puts the case study in a historical perspective although concentrates on the most recent\u0000 trends to describe the social issues at stake as a result of the introduction of current reforms and policies. The findings of the current study have been contextualized through different factors such as quality assessment and control, role of the private sector, international collaborations/integration,\u0000 links with its economic and social environment and employability of students. Furthermore, this article also addresses the issue of the applicability of international norms within the higher education systems of developing countries.
