The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with the technique of collecting funds using a questionnaire or questionnaire. The study population was all students of grades X and XI SMA Adabiah Padang totaling 575. The sample was drawn using a purposive sampling technique and was represented by 51 students. The results showed that the social self-concept of the youth at the Tunas Bangsa orphanage in Solok City in the orphanage environment was in the high category on average . This means that the views or assessments of the orphanage adolescents on their ability to interact with the leadership of the orphanage, the caretaker of the orphanage, and friends who live in the orphanage are positive. The social self-concept of the youth at the Tunas Bangsa orphanage in Solok City in the average school environment is in the high category . This study aims to examine the relationship between learning motivation and students' readiness to take exams. This research uses descriptive correlational method, data collection uses a questionnaire and is analyzed using the percentage formula and correlation test using SPSS 20.00. the sample is 72 with the sampling method using simple random sampling technique. The results of the study (1) the results of research findings on students' learning motivation are classified as moderate. (2) The research findings regarding students' readiness to take exams are classified as moderate , (3) there is a significant relationship between students' learning motivation and students' readiness to take exams. The implication of this research is that counselors provide guidance and counseling services that can minimize students who lack motivation to learn, so that students can develop their potential. The services that can be provided are information services, group counseling services, individual counseling services and other Counseling Guidance services. The research used quantitative methods, namely experiments. Research subjects class VIII E students at SMP Negeri 2 Moyudan who have been selected according to the sufficient category. Data collection techniques used scale and observation. Data analysis techniques used the T-test formula. The results showed that based on the results of paired samples t-test, pretest and posttest were obtained. sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 then compared to the sig. 5% = 0.05, it can be determined that 0.000 < 0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The method used is descriptive qualitative to present a detailed description of the social situation or clarify a phenomenon under study. Data was collected using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in July-October 2022 with 3 respondents consisting of 3 children, namely IS, SZ, QA, and informants consisting of 3 people, namely class teachers, school principals, and parents of mentally retarded children.
