Survey design was used for the study. The population of the study consisted of 45 (20Ph.D and 25 M.Ed) Post Graduate (PG) students in education from Faculty of Technology Education (FTE), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi. Stratify random sampling was used to select 40(17 Ph.D, 23M.Ed) male and 10(4Ph.D, 6 M.Ed) female PG students in Education. Factors that influence PG students Choice of Research Topic in Education Questionnaire (CRTEQ) was developed, validated and used for data collection. Stability coefficient of 0.88 was established. Hypotheses were tested at α =0.05 level of significance. The data was analyzed using frequency count, percentages and Chi- Square test. Findings from the study revealed that availability of the data method on external factors and the topic falls within my interest and intellectual ability on personal factors were the most frequent factors that influence choice of research topic by PG students in education. There is no significant differences (Chi-Square=.527, ρ<0.05) between Ph.D and M.Ed students in education on the factors that influence the choice of the research topic. Despite the numerous efforts towards economic integration by the East African regional states, success has been limited. There is no comprehensive integration policy to cement the East African regional states. Although several authors have examined the influence of regionalism from various perspectives and regions, they have not addressed the EAC and the ASEAN in a comparative context. This knowledge gap motivated the current study whose specific objective was to assess the economic factors which influence development in the EAC and the ASEAN regional blocs. The study was guided by the Power Theories. It employed the concurrent mixed methods approach, incorporating the survey design for the quantitative component, and the exploratory design for the qualitative component. The study used both purposive and stratified random sampling to select respondents from members of the EAC Secretariat, delegates attending various EAC council and summit meetings, ASEAN diplomatic representatives within the EAC Partner States and officers from the Ministries of East African Community and Foreign Affairs. The study utilized primary data collected using questionnaires and interview guides.. The study established that The EAC member states have embraced similar policies on human development, social benefit and protection, across the region. The results of this study have demonstrated that, despite the numerous efforts of advancing economic integration by the East African regional states, real, tangible success is still an illusion. Pragmatic realization of mutual political trust needs to be embraced if the goal of economic integration is to be realized. This study evaluated the implementation of the school-based feeding program in Cangcahipos Elementary School using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) Model of evaluation by Stufflebeam. The respondents involved 8 teachers, 12 pupils, and 12 parents. Checklists, unstructured interview, on-site observation and documents were employed in collecting data. The gathered data were interpreted and analyzed using Content Analysis, and Descriptive Statistics run through SPSS 16.0. Context evaluation revealed that policies and guidelines were aligned to the program’s objectives which corresponded to its mission rooted from the societal need to resolve malnutrition among public schoolchildren. Input evaluation showed that although teachers and parents have enough background on the proper care and nutrition of children, most SBFP beneficiaries’ family were economically handicapped in providing nutritious food for them; school facilities, equipment, and funding were delayed, insufficient and inadequate; complementary programs were implemented and well-observed; while recipes were standardized and created to address calorie deficiency among recipients. The process evaluation showed that there was a very low parents’ participation; pupils’ attendance and nutritional status improved, yet there was no significant difference between the body mass index of the pupils before and after program implementation. Product evaluation revealed that SBFP beneficiaries were all promoted to the next grade level, but few of them were found to belong to the wasted nutritional status category.
