The estimated definition of the reaction force of the brush package is based on solving the contact problem of the interaction of bristles with each other, with the rotor and the rear plate of the seal case, taking into account the action of the distributed gas flow pressure. Comparison of the results obtained with the data of well-known estimated and experimental studies. According to the results of calculations, it was noted that the accounting of the spatial contact interaction of the elements of the brush seal significantly affects on reaction force value and, accordingly, on the brush package rigidity. In the presence of a gas pressure drop on the compaction, the results of calculations on a simplified half-analytical model based on the analysis of the deflection of one bristles according to the model of the flat bending of the console straight beam, and the spatial model differ in order. It is necessary to take into account this effect when calculating the wear of the brush seal and the forecast of its effectiveness with the course of operation. A characteristic feature of the dependence of the reaction of the brush package from the magnitude of the rotor displacement is the presence of hysteresis in the \"load - unloading\" cycle due to friction in the system. The impact of gas flow on the bristles significantly increases the scope of hysteresis loops and changes its shape. On the scale of the loop also strongly affects the coefficient of friction pair \"schedules - rotor\". In this case, a complex stress-strain state can arise in products, which can lead to a significant decrease in their fatigue life. In this regard, the development of methods for predicting fatigue fracture of critical structures becomes urgent. The purpose of this work is to test a simple approach for describing multiaxial fatigue datasets presented in the literature and compare it with known multiaxial fatigue models. Within the framework of the study, actual experimental data was considered, containing experimental data on the multiaxial fatigue of aluminum alloys 2024-T3 and 2024-T4. The alloys are actively used in the designs of aircraft, ships and spacecraft. As a result, the Sines model and its modernized version were considered (taking into account the first invariant of the stress tensor with respect to amplitude values). At the same time, an approach was developed to determine the constants of the models based on the results of two variants of training experiments. The paper presents the results in the form of relationships of the predicted and experimental fatigue life, obtained using the Sines model and its modification for two types of training tests. In the final part of the work, a comparative analysis of the Sines model and its modification, Smith-Watson-Topper, Fatemi-Socie and its modification is carried out. The analysis showed that the modified Sines model significantly improves the predictive ability, the proposed model better described the experimental data than the traditional Sines model and the Smith-Watson-Topper approach. The shell has a different thickness and reinforcement scheme for segments, and metal embedded elements on the front and rear ends of the shell for fixing the covers. The problem of calculating the stress-strain state and estimating the strength of the shell under loading by internal pressure is posed. To solve the problem, a two-level numerical mathematical model of the shell is developed. At the first level, the shell is modeled using the effective characteristics of the composite material by segments. At the second level, the deformation of individual segments of the shell is modeled - the front and rear joint nodes with metal embedded elements and a pin-pin connection with an explicit description of the segment reinforcement scheme. The boundary conditions for the segment deformation problem are determined as a result of calculating the shell VAT using the first-level model. The developed model is compared with the results of bench tests of the shell for the effect of internal pressure. To solve the related boundary value problem of electromagnetic thermoe-lasticity, the Green function method was used as part of a generalized singular approximation of the statistical mechanics of composites, taking into account the initial stress state of the representative domain of the composite at micro- and macro-levels. The solution of the problem of \"effective module\" for tensors of effective elastic, piezomechanical, magnetostrictive properties, dielectric permittivity and magnetic permit-tivity, temperature, pyroelectric, pyromagnetic coefficients and (which appeared only at the macro level) electromagnetic and magnetoelectric couplings of a quasi-periodic composite with an initial electromagnetic elastic state was obtained. The solutions for the desired tensors of effective properties of the quasi-periodic composite are presented in the form of analytical formulas of simple linear decompositions by solutions for tensors of effective properties of the periodic structure and statistical mixture, decomposition coefficients are the coefficient of \"periodicity\" (correlation of quasi-periodic and periodic structures) p and \"disordering\" 1-p, respectively. Results of calculation of all independent components of tensors of effective coefficients of electromagnetic and magnetoelectric couplings of different structures (periodic, quasi-periodic and statistical mixture) are presented in unidirectional direction of fibrous composite \"PZT-4/ferrite\" with axisymmet-ric tensor of initial macrostrain of composite. For a quasi-periodic composite (with initial macrostrain), the significantly non-monotonic nature of the dependencies of relative (to values in the absence of an initial stress state) values of effective coefficients of electromagnetic and magnetoelectric couplings from the volume fraction of ferrite fibers was revealed. It was revealed that we have an increase in the absolute values of the electromagnetic and magnetoelectric coupling coefficients of composite at negative values of its initial axisymmetric axial macrostrains. The tests were carried out on specimens of the BrKh08-Sh alloy with a cyclic change in the tensile load from 0 to a given value. Under such loading, the material in the groove area is subjected to cyclic elastoplastic deformation, which leads to failure due to low-cycle fatigue. When testing samples using the digital image correlation method, the deformation of the material on the surface of the undercut was measured, which made it possible to determine the nature of the change in its range from cycle to cycle. Mathematical modeling of experiments is carried out according to the finite element method. For this purpose, models of elastic-plastic deformation and accumulation of material damages are introduced into the SIMULIA Abaqus software package. The plasticity model is based on the theory of flow under combined hardening. The damage accumulation model is based on the energy strength criterion. The article presents the basic equations used to calculate the models. The material parameters are determined and verified based on the results of a basic experiment on cyclic tension-compression of a smooth cylindrical sample under asymmetric rigid loading. Based on the results of the calculation, cartograms of stresses, deformations, and accumulated damages were constructed. It is shown that when the sample is unloaded, in the area of stress concentration close to the annular groove, compressive stresses arise, the values of which are close to the values of tensile stresses at the moment of application of the maximum load. The results of mathematical modeling are compared with the experiment. The technique involves the development of the energy method of boundary states, which is based on the concepts of spaces of internal and boundary states, conjugated by isomorphism, which makes it possible to establish a one-to-one correspondence between the elements of these spaces. The internal state includes the components of the tensor of stresses, deformations, and the displacement vector. The boundary state includes efforts and displacements at the boundary of the body. The isomorphism of the state spaces is proved, which allows finding the internal state to be reduced to the study of the boundary state isomorphic to it. The basis is formed on the basis of the general solution of the boundary value problem of elastostatics for a transversely isotropic body of revolution. Orthogonalization of state spaces is carried out, where the internal energy of elastic deformation is used as scalar products in the space of internal states; in the space of boundary states, the work of external forces is used. Finally, finding the desired state is reduced to solving an infinite system of algebraic equations for the Fourier coefficients. The solution of the problem with mixed boundary conditions for a circular in plan cylinder of transversely isotropic coarse dark gray siltstone with anisotropy axis coinciding with the geometric axis of symmetry is presented. The solution is analytical and the characteristics of the stress-strain state have a polynomial form. Progressive axisymmetric bending due to increasing thermal load in the postbuckling range leads to substantial redistribution of the stresses in the plate and occurrence of high compressive circumferential stresses in a narrow zone adjacent to the plate edge. In this case, secondary buckling can occur resulting in unsymmetric stress-strain state. The aim of the present work is to study stability behavior of the postbuckling axisymmetric equilibrium configurations of a circular plate subjected to uniform temperature rise. The plate edge is assumed to be immovable in the radial and transverse directions and elastically re-strained against bending rotation, which allows one to model the boundary conditions between two extremes of clamped and simply supported. The stability analysis is performed by the semi-analytical finite element method, where unknown displacements are approximated by truncated Fourier series in the circumferential coordinate. The geometrical nonlinearity is taken into ac-count in a quadratic approximation using the Fӧppl – von Karman nonlinear plate theory. To find equilibrium states of the plate, an iterative algorithm is proposed which requires determination of the coefficients of the first and second variations of the total potential energy. Stability of the equilibrium states is examined using the criterion of positive defineteness of the Hess matrix of the plate finite-element model. The critical temperature rise at which secondary buckling occurs is determined. The post-buckling nonlinear deformation characterized by local winkling near the plate edge is studied. In this work, the Lemaitre damage model was integrated taking, into account the combined hardening law, which combines the Armstrong - Frederick kinematic hardening law and the Voce isotropic hardening law, into the ANSYS finite element software. The model is implemented in the form of a dynamically linked library of user material for three-dimensional objects, which is tested on a cylindrical specimen with an external annular notch, both in an axisymmetric setting and in a three-dimensional one. The article presents model representations of the above-listed standard systems. This work demonstrates only one of the two stages of verification of the created program - comparison of damage fields under monotonic loading with data known in the literature - and doesn’t take into account the verification of cycle-by-cycle kinetics of plastic deformation accumulation with experimental data for low-cycle fatigue. The result of verification, consistent with similar experiments known in the literature, is confirmed in accordance with similar experiments. In addition, an analogy was found using the TSL law of the cohesive fracture mechanics approach. Material postcritical deformation characterized by a decrease in the stress level during growing deformations is one of the damages accumulation effects. Application of postcritical deformation theory basic provisions to carry out structures refined strength analysis with additional deformation and strength reserves identification is expedient. Calculation of sof-tening processes stability related to loading systems rigidity is necessary. Consideration of analytical solutions where occurrence and development of softening zones are taken into account is expedient to illustrate main theoretical positions of postcritical defor-mation mechanics. The analytical solution to the hollow cylindrical solid torsion problem where material softening stage and loading system rigidity are considered is obtained. Two-link and three-link approximations of the complete material deformation diagram are considered. Dia-grams of shear stresses distribution over the cross-section are shown; various postcritical de-formation zones development scenarios existence is noted. Loading diagrams are built; torque maximum value dependence on material parameters and rod geometry is defined. The strength and deformation reserves of the structure are revealed. Conditions for complete loading diagram implementation are determined, the loading system rigidity influence is noted. The rheological model makes it possible to reproduce different modes of interaction between the vibratory plate base and soil: with different types of plate decoupling and without decoupling. We verify this model by comparing the experimental values of the vertical oscillation span of the base and frame of the Zitrek CNP 20 vibrating plate with the previously calculated values. As a whole, the calculated values of the span of vertical oscillations of the base and frame of the Zitrek CNP 20 vibrating plate correlate with the experimental data in the range of the dynamic modulus of soil deformation of 13…30 MPa. During the experiment we used the rheological model and obtained results are as follows: the mass of the vibrating plate (50; 150; 250; 350; 450; 550; 650; 750 kg), the coefficient of the elastic resistance of soil (30; 60; 90; 120 MN / m), and the coefficient of viscous resistance of soil (100; 200; 300 kN • s / m). The total number of combinations of parameters was 96. The processed results of the computational experiment provide the regression dependences for calculating the maximum soil reaction force, the time of soil loading (increasing the values of the reaction force of soil) t1, and the time of soil unloading (decrease the values of the reaction force of soil) t2. The simulation results show that, within one exposure cycle, the soil loading time t1 is less than the soil unloading time t2. The ratio t1/t2 is influenced by the weight of the vibratory plate, as well as the factors of elastic and viscous resistance of soil. This feature (t1/ t2  1) is typical for both vibratory rollers and rammers, which is confirmed by the results of the relevant experimental studies.
