The use of industrial robots has led to increased labor productivity, human replacement in hazardous work situations, increased product quality, rapid recovery of investment. Supple automation, the highest level of programmable automation, is organized into computer-driven production cells and serviced by one or more industrial robots. The transformation of production systems from the human-machine system to the human-robot-machine system has replaced the human in the process of performing dangerous or uncomfortable works. The diversity of definitions given to industrial robots and the lack of consensus on the notion of \"industrial robot\" is a premise for opening new horizons in trying to bring the machine closer to human perfection. The present paper aims to conduct a study of the behavior for the work equipment of a forklift during the work process. The tool used to conduct the study was finite element analysis using specialized Solid Edge software. A 3D model of the forklift's work equipment was introduced in Solid Edge and a dynamic analysis was performed, which led to the equipment's eigenmodes and eigenfrequencies. The introduction of MQL systems responds to the growing demand in the industry with a whole host of real benefits. The geometry of the nozzle influences the flow parameters of the coolant; these parameters can also be influenced by the nature of the fluid or liquids used. The nozzle of the cooling system has a convergent-divergent geometry, the dispersion of the fluid in the areas to be processed being better. A high temperature in the working area above a certain critical value can be harmful to the quality of the surface and can have some negative influences on the life of the cutting tool. MQL-type cooling systems combine different cooling fluids to achieve better cooling and lubrication of the cutting area. Following the simulations performed, the coolant speeds depend on the length of the analyzed nozzle, we can see that the speed has a lower value in the initial section of the nozzle which increases at the nozzle outlet. After exiting the convergence-divergence nozzle, the fluid jet velocity decreases in proportion to the fluid jet length, the simulation of these phenomena can optimize the geometry for the chosen purpose. The morphologies and characteristics of ’ martensite have been studied using optical-image analysis, scanning and transmission electron microscope. The influence of strain-induced martensite on mechanical properties and hardness of AISI 304 steel have been reported. Plastic deformation during the cold rolling of AISI 304 steel induces a martensitic transformation (γ→α’) in the whole range of applied deformation degree. The equiaxial grains of austenite containing annealing twins were observed within the microstructure of steel at delivery state. During the deformation process the shape of austenite grains was changed into long slim bands parallel to the rolling direction. Many shear bands and micro-twins were observed in the microstructure at large deformations degrees. The martensite, which was formed as a result of the transformation (γ→α’) induced by deformation, has a distinct influence on properties of the investigated steel grade. This is necessary because more and more composite materials and 3D printing are being used in the construction of robots, including the gripper. In this context, two types of materials are considered possible to be used in the construction of grippers. Samples are made in different 3D printing modes; the Taguchi method is applied to identify the optimal values. A finite element analysis was also performed in order to verify the characteristics of the materials introduced in the program by comparison with the experimental results in order to use them in the analysis of a new gripper solution. As they will follow, PLA material with 100% infill, 0,17mm layers thickness and 45° raster angle has the greatest resistance at extension. Because this type of Machine Tool it is used to machine large parts at high speeds, significant heat will be produce at the cutting tool level and transmitted thru the tool holder to the ram or spindled and then to the ream case guideways. Heat it’s also generated when using a ball screw actuation for the main axis because of the friction forces at the ball screw level. Due to material expansion, the heat generated during the machining process can influence the precision of the Machine Tool. In this paper, finite element analysis (FEA) was used to analyze the influence of the temperature on the rigidity of the Machine Tool guideways. When a machine tool is handed over to the customer it is compliant in terms of the accuracy limits specified in the documentation but, after a time interval of usage, because of the wear of the components in relative motion and machine exploitation conditions. This work suggests an innovating method of testing the accuracy of a CNC machine tool by using the “calliper”, with a view to enhancing the positioning accuracy of the feed kinematic linkages. After designing and manufacturing this device, the measurement of the target points on the coordinate measuring machine is necessary, so that this device becomes a “calliper”. For inspecting the machine tool, the “calliper” is located on the machine table, being measured at the target points by means of the probe with the tactile shooter that belongs to the machine. The measurement results are stored and compared to the results of the measurements performed through the coordinate measuring machine. One way to partially meet this requirement is to make models with a low degree of filling. However, the types of predefined filling structures, defined in the slicing programs, are relatively small in number, being based on repetitive patterns. In this paper it is proposed to make a specimen with a filling structure adapted to the expected stress that appear during operation. Model design can be done in any computer-aided design environment. The deformations of the modified specimen were compared with the deformations of some models with predefined filling structures, under the conditions of maintaining the same loads. This comparison allows to verify the strength of the specimen, under the conditions of using the same volume of material, compared to the models with predefined structure. In addition, conclusions can be drawn regarding the strength of various filling patterns and the time required to print the specimen. There are passive devices like bilge keels or anti – roll tanks and active devices like gyrostabilizer and stabilizing fins which are commonly used to generate an opposed moment to the wave and wind excitation roll moments in response to the command of a control system. The paper presents numerical results of using a Proportional - Integral – Derivative (PID) controller for damping the roll motion of a fishing boat equipped with a fin stabilizer system and sailing in regular waves. The nonlinear roll equation, which includes B1 type damping and quantic restoring, besides the wave excitation moment and moment generated by fins, was linearized for relative small roll angles. The role of PID controller was to generate the corrective roll moment through the controlled fins in order to stabilize the roll motion. The thresholds for the controller’s gains were determined using the Laplace transform and Routh – Hurwitz criterion. A simple but precise iterative scheme was used for the rapid integration of the system equations of motion in three cases: only proportional (P) component, proportional and derivative (PD) components and full PID controller. This approach is not a theoretical one, it also has a practical purpose to achieve high-performance propulsion systems with the lowest possible design costs. This is the purpose for which we want to create a viable and high-performance simulation model which allows optimization by numerical analysis, and in the end to make the prototype and perform measurements. The simulation is done in Ansys CFX and uses a 3D model for the propeller and duct of the T100 thruster produced by Blue Robotics. The simulation introduces the cavitation model from Ansys CFX, simplified Rayleigh-Plesset formulation, and we will perform analyses whit important improvements. Taking into account the results obtained in previous author work [1] and information from other scientifical papers, we will test fine discretization mesh in rotor zone to solve the cavitation. Increased resolution for the numerical scheme, two-order schemes for pressure momentum, and turbulence equations. Replacement of k-epsilon turbulence model whit a more performant k-omega model. This paper presents the experimental investigations regarding the elastic and acoustic properties of the wood used to obtain the sound post. The speed of propagation of sound waves in wood and then the determination of the elastic properties in the longitudinal direction was measured on a number of 12 sound posts made from new and old resonance wood. It was found that the elastic and acoustic properties depend on the degree of aging of the wood.
