By the punctation of the head and elytra, weakly developed depressions on the pronotal disc, the new species is most similar to C. irianensis Gildenkov, 2020 from New Guinea. The specimens have been collected from the leaf-litter of the lowland disturbed forest in West Sumatra Province. Dealate queen is described and illustrated for the first time. (E Kazakhstan). The species is strongly associated with short grass vegetation. Its abundance is usually low. The ecologo-geographic models of the species distribution over the eastern parts of its range are generated by the Maxent algorithm for the first time.
