The lectotype and paralectotype of Cicindela macilenta Schaum, 1862 are designated. Cylindera (Ifasina) klimenkoi sp. n. is described from Aurora Province, Luzon Island. The new species is distinguished from the probably most similar C. (Ifasina) macilenta by the white elytral pattern, particu¬larly the shape of the apical lunule in both sexes and the large, metallic purple-bronze, basodiscal subsutural mirror in females, as well as by the shape of the aedeagus. A key to and a distribution map of all 12 species of the subgenus Ifasina heretofore recorded from the Philippines is also given.","PeriodicalId":37989,"journal":{"name":"Far Eastern Entomologist","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45296584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
