The radiative leptonic decays and double radiative decays are the best channels to determine the B meson distribution amplitudes, but one should systematically deal with the power corrections to reduce the uncertainty. The heavy-to-light form factors is one of the most important nonperturbative quantities, and an improved method to improve the theoretical accuracy is to fit the form factors using combined data from Lattice and light-cone sum rules which works well at large recoil region. The power suppressed weak annihilation contribution is phenomenologically important in the nonleptonic decays, and the previously neglected hard-collinear gluon exchange diagrams have the potential to cancel the endpoint singularity arising from the hard gluon exchange. Therefore, more endeavors need to be paid to this topic.

","PeriodicalId":37968,"journal":{"name":"Nuclear and Particle Physics Proceedings","volume":"345 ","pages":"Pages 4-9"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141540580","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Fermilab experiment already accumulated 21 times more data compared to the BNL experiment. The J-PARC muon g-2 experiment will collect 3.5 times the statistics compared to Fermilab. With the increases in the collected data volume, and limited by the speed and accuracy, the existing tracking reconstruction and magnetic field measurement method may not fully satisfy the requirement of the experiment. The breakthrough of the deep learning inspires new analysis method in the muon g-2 experiment. In this proceeding, we will present some preliminary research on the tracking reconstruction based on Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Graph Neural Network (GNN) and the magnetic field measurement based on Physics Informed Neural Network (PINN). The muon linac starts with an ultra-slow muon (USM) source that generates muons with an extremely small momentum of 3 keV/c (kinetic energy W=25 meV) by laser ionization of thermal muonium. The generated USMs are accelerated to 5.6 keV by an electrostatic field and injected into a radio frequency quadrupole (RFQ). The injected muons are accelerated to 0.34 MeV by the 324-MHz RFQ. Then, the energy of the muon beam is boosted to 4.5 MeV with a 324-MHz interdigital H-type drift tube linac (IH-DTL). Following the IH-DTL, 1296-MHz disk-and-washer (DAW) structures accelerate the muon up to 40 MeV. Finally, the muons are accelerated from 40 MeV to 212 MeV using a 2592-MHz disk-loaded traveling wave structure (DLS). In this paper, details of the linac design and the recent progress toward the realization of the world's first muon linac will be discussed.

","PeriodicalId":37968,"journal":{"name":"Nuclear and Particle Physics Proceedings","volume":"345 ","pages":"Pages 10-15"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141411938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
