This imposes the requirement for on-line trajectory planning and constant changing of gait parameters (turning, stopping, acceleration and deceleration, switching from the walk on a flat to the walk on an inclined surface or staircases, etc.). In view of the prospect that humanoid robots of the future will share with humans living and working space it will be normally expected from them to possess similar walking capabilities. This work aims to demonstrate the possibility of on-line generation of complex motion as a combination of simple motions at particular joints, called primitives. Each primitive has its parameters and constraints that are determined on the basis of similar man's motions. The set of all primitives represents the base from which primitives are selected and combined for the purpose of performing the corresponding complex movement. The proof that a correct selection of primitives is made and that the movement is the appropriate one is obtained on the basis of the maintainance of dynamic balance, which is realized by monitoring the ZMP position, as well as based on the pattern of the very movement.","PeriodicalId":378688,"journal":{"name":"2009 7th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129072394","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

EU and NATO nations will use a Logistic Information Management (LIM) concept that couples available information technology with logistic processes and practices. The Logistic Information Management will focus on identifying logistic information requirements that meet the EU nation's needs. Implementation of this concept should reduce management and support costs, the logistic footprint and logistic support delivery time. It should also enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of multinational logistic support.","PeriodicalId":378688,"journal":{"name":"2009 7th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128190971","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These components, manufactured by Fair-Rite, are measured and characterized using a vector network analyzer E5071B and adaptation test fixture on PCB board. Since the behavior of the component depends on the environment where the component is placed, measurement results strongly depend on the choice of the PCB. Two new adaptation test fixtures in PCB technology on different board type are presented. The equivalent circuit parameters are extracted in closed form, from an accurate measurement of the board-mounted SMD inductor S-parameters. The extraction of parameters (intrinsic and extrinsic) of SMD inductor is shown.","PeriodicalId":378688,"journal":{"name":"2009 7th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130910071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Sun SPOT is designed to be a flexible development platform, capable of hosting widely differing application modules. Web technologies are changing the education in robotics. A feature of remote control laboratories is that users can interact with real mobile robot motion processes through the Internet. Motion control of mobile robots is very important research field today, because mobile robots are a interesting subject both in scientific research and practical applications. In this paper the object of the remote control is the Boe-Bot mobile robot from Parallax. This Boe-Bot mobile robot is the simplest, low-cost platform and the most suitable for the small-sized, light, battery-driven autonomous vehicle. The vehicle has two driving wheels and the angular velocities of the two wheels are independently controlled. When the vehicle is moving towards the target in an unknown environment with obstacles, an avoiding strategy is necessary. A remote control program has been implemented.","PeriodicalId":378688,"journal":{"name":"2009 7th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132620948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
