One of the problems he faced was the limited energy source (battery-powered). Therefore, in an attempt to use energy as best as possible, several mechanisms have been proposed. Energy efficiency in WSN is a very interesting issue to discuss. This problem is a challenge for researchers. This paper focuses on the discussion of how research has developed in energy efficiency efforts in the WSNs over the past 10 years. One of the proposed mechanisms is data reduction. This paper discusses data reduction divided into 4 Parts; 1) aggregation, 2) adaptive sampling, 3) compression, and 4) network coding. Data reduction is intended to reduce the amount of data sent to the sink. Data reduction approachescan affect the accuracy of the information collected. Data reduction is used to improve latency, QoS (Quality of Service), good scalability, and reduced waiting times. This paper discusses more adaptive sampling techniques and network coding. It was concluded that using data reduction mechanisms in target detection applications proved efficient compared to without using data reduction mechanisms. One of the most important post-harvest processes is drying. Therefore, we need a drying process with an artificial heat source that can be adjusted to achieve constant heat according to the temperature characteristics of the rice. By applying the Fuzzy-MIMO control system, rice drying is expected to work quickly without damaging the rice foam. Fuzzy-MIMO system is translated into a rule based on the fuzzy algorithm that has been created. The fuzzy-MIMO method used is the Sugeno method with input temperature errors and humidity errors and outputs in the form of heat and wind gusts. The temperature sensor used has an error factor of 3.61%. The expected control system is a heating system and a motor to regulate the wind gusts in the drying chamber. The total drying time produced is 240 seconds with a moisture content of 15.2%. One of the pests that often disturb farmers, especially for chili farmers or other horticultural crops, is the fruit fly. This pest is very disturbing harvests because their numbers are increasing quite rapidly. This problem underlies the development of this pest repellent. The working principle of this tool is to repel fruit flies using ultrasonic waves without using pesticide drugs that can damage the environment if used continuously. This tool is designed using Arduino Uno as the main controller. Ultrasonic waves and generated and regulated using piezoelectric at a certain frequency as a fruit fly repellent. Then the tool is rotated using a servo motor to reach all corners of the land. For control and monitoring, this tool uses the GSM SIM800L version 2 module for sending short messages. From the results of the overall evaluation, this fruit fly repellent can work according to its function. IEEE 802.15.4 is also technology and protocol within a computer network that can connect all device quickly, has a large capacity and low power consumption. The challenge of Wireless Sensor Network is how to improve the Wireless Sensor Network network performance matrix (goodput, bandwidth utilization, and energy consumption) both in the Contention Access Period (CAP) and in the Contention Free Period (CFP) based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. This research is an analysis combination of adjustment delay and slot duration methods to increase goodput, bandwidth utilization and reduce energy consumption in Wireless Sensor Networks in the allocation guaranteed time slots on fixed data simulated using Castalia Simulator software. The problem of this research is whether the combination method can improve the performance matrix of Wireless Sensor Networks on fixed data compared to other methods (SUDAS, ADES, IEEE 802.15.4 Standard). This reserch it aims to determine the performance matrix of combination methods is when compared to other methods (Superframe Duration Adjustment Scheme (SUDAS), Adjustment Delay Scheme (ADES), IEEE 802.15.4 standard) using quantitative approach research methods. Based on the data obtained, the goodput of the combined method increased by 10%, 416%, and 513% respectively compared to the SUDAS method, ADES method, and IEEE 802.15.4 standards. Bandwidth utilization of the combination methods increased by 0.025, 0.223 and 0.232, respectively compared to the SUDAS method, the ADES method, and the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. And the consumption of the combination methods are respectively reduced by 1.02%, 8.72% and 9.08% compared to the SUDAS, ADES and IEEE 802.15.4 standards. With the combination method of delay adjustment and slot duration it is able to optimize the performance of the Wireless Sensor Network compared to other methods. Therefore, telecommunications technology continues to be developed by creating transmitter and receiver devices that can work at Ultra-Wideband (UWB) frequencies. This study aims to design a coplanar Vivaldi antenna with a fractal structure so that the performance of the antenna radiation pattern can increase to apply UWB frequency. The conventional coplanar Vivaldi antenna, model-A, and Model-B fractal antennas are designed to see the performance of return loss values less than -10 dB, VSWR less than 2, and working frequency of 2-10 GHz. The fractal model is created with a circular repeating structure given at the edges of the antenna patch. From the simulation results, the main lobe value of the conventional Coplanar Vivaldi antenna was 5.21 dBi, the model-A fractal was 7.02 dBi, and the Model-B fractal was 7.84 dBi. The order of the best sidelobe performance at a frequency of 6 GHz is obtained for the model-A fractal of -9 dB. Beamwidth of 46 degrees and the best main lobe direction of 0 degrees is obtained for fractal model-B. PLC dibuat untuk mengubah sistem kerja mesin yang dulunya bekerja secara konvensional menjadi sistem yang dikendalikan dengan menggunakan komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem kendali otomatis menggunakan PLC pada press roll di salah satu building tire machine. Fokus penelitian yang dilakukan pada sistem kontrol press roll ini meliputi pemasangan panel kontrol PLC dan program PLC dengan software GX-Works 2. PLC yang digunakan adalah PLC Mitsubishi tipe-Q dengan modul input QX41 dan QX42 dan modul output QY41P dan QY10. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Research and Development (R&D), yaitu metode untuk mengembangkan sistem yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan mengukur tegangan kerja pada terminal input dan output PLC serta menguji kinerja sistem kontrol secara keseluruhan. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pengujian terminal input menyatakan bahwa sistem input bekerja dengan normal. Kemudian pada pengujian terminal output didapatkan nilai persentase error (% error) pada terminal output Y68 sebesar 0,08%, dan terminal output Y7F sebesar 0,04% dengan tegangan standar 24 VDC. Sedangkan terminal keluaran Y91 memiliki nilai persentase error tegangan sebesar 1,31% dengan tegangan standar 220 VAC. Many factors influence the occurrence of accidents, one of the reasons is that the driver is sleepy. The parameters used to determine the condition of drowsiness are identifying the condition of the eyelids. With this identification, an image processing system can be utilized by applying the Haar Casecade Classifier and Circular Hough Transform methods with Find Countur using HSV parameters. The detection uses a camera with the driver's eye input, if the image detected is a drowsy eye, the system will wake up the driver by turning on a sound alarm, besides this system is equipped with an SMS gateway feature that will be sent to the driver's relatives, that the driver is sleepy. Message notification sent contains the condition and location of the rider. Based on system-wide testing, this system has a success rate of 100% against HSV1, 96% against HSV2 and HSV3, 89% against HSV4, and 88% against HSV5 on eye detection results and response time. The resulting error is because the lighting at a certain distance is not match with HSV set, the system experiences a freeze due to the buzzer sound delay that is too long and the performance of the PC is also less than optimal.
