The machine packages the diapers that fail the automatic quality test and pass the manual check. The diapers were previously packaged manually which is very tedious and time consuming. The machine compresses the diapers to a pre-specified volume, lifts and pushes them into the packaging bag and it can produce four different packaging shapes with the possibility of choosing the number of diapers through a digital screen. Manufacturing the diapers packaging machine required a study for its mechanisms and operation principles and doing the mechanical design in addition to designing the control system which is responsible for the compression, lift and push motions and their timing. The developed control system consists of a PLC device which was programmed to perform the assigned jobs, pneumatic pistons and sensors for the pistons positions and counting the diapers. An accurate sensor system was developed to count the diapers appropriately. It is very difficult to compare and correlation results of nanomaterial mechanical properties. This is due to the varying top down and bottom up approaches of manufacturing nanomaterials. There are other problem due to varying means of defining strain, varying means of imposing strain on the material and varying mathematical equation used in modeling. The tool of stochastic mechanics and fracture mechanics were used to model the physical activity that takes place during ARB process. The following facts were experimentally revealed and validated. It was revealed that varying directions of measuring grain sizes have varying effects on yield stress and fracture. It was also shown that grain boundaries with higher grain curvatures have more enhanced fracture toughness and cracks propagation is lower.
