The main design constraint for the impeller is the hub ratio. The previously used algorithm for the initial design of impellers is based on the limited design experience and design experiments. In some cases, a significant correction of the dimensions and shape of the impeller is required at the next stage of design. To approximate the initial design to the final design the authors performed the optimal design of 124 radial and axial-radial impellers with flow rate coefficients of 0.015 to 0.15, loading factors of 0.40 to 0.70, hub ratios of 0.25 to 0.40. Geometric parameters are approximated by algebraic formulae and supplemented with recommendations to apply classic formulae of impeller inlet dimensions, which together form the proposed method of the initial design.","PeriodicalId":377067,"journal":{"name":"NANOSCIENCE AND NANOTECHNOLOGY: NANO-SciTech","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114745246","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis of the structure and chemical state of the formed composites was carried out using synchrotron radiation using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray adsorption spectroscopy (XANES) methods. The results obtained showed that the preliminary treatment of MWCNTs with argon ions leads to the formation of oxygen-containing functional groups on their surface, which act as interfacial interaction centers during the subsequent formation of the composite. It has been shown that subsequent heat treatment allows one to partially restore the crystal structure of the walls of carbon nanotubes and optimize the crystal structure of tin oxide in the composite","PeriodicalId":377067,"journal":{"name":"NANOSCIENCE AND NANOTECHNOLOGY: NANO-SciTech","volume":"132 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133310042","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The modeling was performed for the rotation frequency of 28 076 rpm and two angles of rotation of IGV (initial position θ10 = +25° and rotated by +10° (θ1 = +35°). The influence of the parameters of the computational model (the number of elements in the computational mesh, interconnect interfaces) on the result is considered. The influence of the gap between the impeller blades and the body is estimated.
