The need for synchronization is obviated by allowing a single relay to be active in each time-slot of the transmission. However, the scheme still achieves a cooperative diversity order of two through some simple operations introduced at the relays while maintaining a single-symbol decoding complexity at the destination. Using the concept of spatial modulation, the scheme is extended for networks with an arbitrary number of relays to offer higher overall throughput as the number of relay increases. Recently, emerging applications such as 5G mobile front haul (MFH) and mobile back haul (MBH) require higher speed PONs. For 5G MFH/MBH networks, it will require greatly increased capacity of more than 100 Gbps. In this paper, we review the recent progress of such 100 Gbps class coherent PON technology. Taspinar","doi":"10.1109/PICECE.2019.8747252","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/PICECE.2019.8747252","url":null,"abstract":"In this article, we have demonstrated an Optical Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) Intensity Modulation and Direct Detection (IM/DD) system with different modulation techniques such as Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) and Phase Shift Keying (PSK). 16 QAM and 16 PSK modulation with different number of subcarriers are applied to IM/DD system to achieve the best Bit Error Rate (BER) performance. According to best BER, the downstream data rate and transmission distance were choosing to be 10 Gbps and 100 km, respectively. The goal of this paper is to model and simulate a PV inverter system using Matlab/Simulink. An offgrid system means that it is not connected to an electricity grid or network. An off-grid power system is important especially at catastrophe times and war where it is hard to get electricity from a utility grid. In addition to that, owners of residential and small-scale commercial structures which are located in remote areas will be able to have access to the electricity. The switching mechanism depends on the renewable energy amount. An off-grid hybrid power system utilizes an array of deep-cycle batteries to store the power generated by the solar panels and a wind turbine. When the renewable sources have excess energy, it is stored in the battery. However, If the renewable sources do not supply enough energy to the loads, the switching mechanism will let the battery provide the load with the required energy. Availability of such wealth of opinions in the social media motivated researchers to develop automated systems for opinion mining, also known as sentiment analysis. A very recent direction currently addresses the problem of detecting the targets, i.e., topics, in the micro-blogs (e.g., tweets) and identifying the sentiment polarity toward them. This research direction is referred to as open domain sentiment classification. In this work, we developed an approach for identifying the context of a given set of micro-blogs and analyzing their sentiments within that context. We propose a new context-based analysis system for open domain targeted sentiment analysis. Based on our knowledge, the proposed system differs from status quo followed in developing systems for open domain targeted sentiment analysis. Existing systems detect opinions in each micro-blog individually. While, our proposed approach helps in developing a context-based analysis system among a set of micro-blogs. The proposed system detects context patterns among a set of micro-blogs by detecting targets and identifying sentiment polarities towards categorized topics that describe the detected targets. Experimental results shown in this paper illustrate performance of applying the proposed system to Arabic and English datasets. The design guaranteed that the cogeneration system covered the majority of the domestic hot water (DHW) demand within the residential building satisfying 80% solar fraction. The number of the parallel connected PV/T collectors required to cover thermal and electrical demands was determined. The size of the hot water storage tank was also assigned. The sizes of the DC/AC inverter and battery bank capacity were also calculated.
