Abstract

In photovoltaics(PV) system, the Balance of System(BOS) describes the components that are connected to the PV Array which made up a PV system. In a grid-connected system, the PV inverter is a major part of the BOS. It takes the DC power produced from the PV Array and converts it into AC power. The goal of this paper is to model and simulate a PV inverter system using Matlab/Simulink. The simulation will illustrate the transition of the DC voltage being converted to AC voltage as it progresses through the system.
