However, a survey conducted by Connolly in 2005 concluded that in Europe, companies considered the skill of database design is the most lacking skill in IT graduate recruits. To overcome the problem, Connolly and Begg in 2006 proposed the problem/project-based learning as an approach to study database design. This paper presents our work on a learning tool on the database analysis and design, focusing on the data requirement analysis and conceptual data modeling phase. The tool is designed based on the principles of problem/project-based learning by Connolly and Begg. The learning tool is developed on top of Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) by creating a new plug-in for data modeling called DBDesign. We conducted some interviews to a number of teachers and students of informatics/computer engineering study programs to obtain some opinions about the usefulness of the learning tool in improving the database analysis and design skills. All respondents agree that the tool will help students in learning database analysis and design. It is associated with limited capabilities of a child, especially a child with special condition, such as baby, toddler, and sick child, that has many limitation capabilities to communicate, to move, and to think. Moreover, children also has susceptible immunity system. The lack of care and monitoring health care for children can be caused by busy parents, the lack of parent's knowledge about health care, the lack of parent's awareness to monitor a child's health, that eventually can be some cause of disruption in children growth and development and health care process. This paper proposes a holistic health care framework that can be set according to child's condition and enable to distribute information accurately, directly to parents, person who take care the child, and pediatrician or hospital. Health care's reminder and information dissemination system will be directly sent to parent's or nanny's smartphone. A single click concept also enable parents to call pediatrician or hospital immediately in an emergency condition. All of child's daily data, included food, activity, medicine, and their treatment, will be recorded as an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and displayed as a chart, to simplify parent and pediatrician in monitoring child's health condition. The flood disaster caused by the Solo River provides a great loss. Flood prediction and modeling of spreading needed to be able to minimize losses caused by flooding. By doing prediction, flood-affected areas can be known from the outset to allow for flood prevention measures. Cellular automata algorithms used in this study to determine the direction of the spread flooding. Cellular automata algorithms process the elevation data, soil type data, river mapping data, river volume changes data and rainfall data. One of its functions is for lie detection purpose based on the information of emotional sign generated on the face. The emergence of fake smile indicates that there are negative emotions, uncomfortable feeling, and something hidden in a person. This research aims to detect fake smile. In fact, real smile is characterized by the contraction of zygomatic major muscle on the edge of mouth corner and obicularis oculli muscle on the eyelids. However, on a fake smile, zygomatic major muscle experiences contraction, but obicularis oculli muscle doesn't contract. Contraction of the zygomatic major muscle is identified by the appearance of wrinkles on the cheeks corner of the mouth, whereas obicularis oculli contraction is identified by the feature value of eye elongation. On the test image, segmentation of RoI (Region of Interest) is done on cheeks and eyes. On the RoI (Region of Interest) cheeks, wrinkle density is calculated; whereas elongation value is calculated on the RoI (Region of Interest) eyes. Based on the two variables above, with support vector machine linear for its classification, smile is classified into two classes, i.e. real smile and fake smile. For the purposes of the analysis of the object movements in the video, the direction of movement is the important feature. In this study, we proposed a new method for determining the direction of movement using Histogram of Oriented Optical Flow (HOOF). We extract it locally at every N-by-N grid, not the entire frame. Direction movement is determined based on the value of HOOF on every grid. We classify the direction of movement in each grid into 12 directions. We use a video from UMN datasets for testing the proposed method. The experiment results show the value of False Positive Per Grid (FPPG) is 28.32%, and False Negative Per Grid (FNPG) is 4.08%. This research aims to investigate the various factors contributing to the research productivity of university faculty members through the use of decision tree modeling. Three separate models, each for junior, intermediate, and senior faculty members, were developed to quantitatively predict individual faculty member's publication output in a specific target year. The models were trained and evaluated on a dataset containing academic profiles and past publications of 78 full-time faculty members in Binus University International by using cross-validation. The overall accuracy of the models was above 80%, with the model for the junior faculty members achieved 100% accuracy. Several key findings were identified from this research. First, possession of doctoral degree was found to be a key identifier of productive junior faculty members. Second, length of service with university did not affect research productivity. This paper presents an approach of HTML table integration by combining several existing methods that are proved to solve different issues in the integration processes. The integration of HTML table consists of three phases: (1) extraction of the structure of the tables; (2) integration of the tables' schema; (3) integration of the data values. To solve the conflicts in semantics and naming in the tables schema, domain-ontology is used. To improve quality of integration of data values in the tables, the vector space model is used to check the duplications of data values. As the integration result, a single HTML table is obtained. The approach is implemented on an engine built using Phyton. Even though the application or business rules change, consistent data stored in the database must be kept. This research is intended to propose a framework for checking the consistency of an existing database to the business rules in which the data must comply. The research focuses on the situation where the documents of database and the application are obsolete. The rules are extracted from the associated documents (e.g. the decrees) before they are finally expressed in SBVR. Those rules are used for data checker SQL script generation. The automation process is possible if the database has a naming convention and the organization has a standardized vocabulary. The framework has been tested using academic data, where the database has no documentation, and the application is still operating until today. A business rule grammar and SQL query templates are proposed. Data consistency checker tool based on the academic rules expressed in SBVR is developed. The research conducted found data that do not comply with the rules. This cipher has easily proven properties of deniability and mathematical unbreakability, even in situations where an eavesdropper has access to unlimited computing power. Yet OTPs also have non-intuitive bottlenecks in CPU, RAM, disk I/O, and key material consumption, particularly when OTPs protect their own communication metadata (such as the volume of information exchanged) in the presence of random packet injection attacks, link failures, and endpoint outages. This is just like what has happened in most of government areas. As we have done from a case study in Sleman, a regency of Yogyakarta Indonesia, it has many departments that use different platform and technology on implementing information system. Integration services using point-to-point method is considered to be irrelevant whereas the number of services are growing up rapidly and more complex. So, in this paper we have proposed a service orchestration mechanism using enterprise service bus (ESB) to integrate many services from many departments which used their owned platform and technology of information system. ESB can be the solution of n-to-n integration problem and it strongly supports the implementation of service oriented architecture (SOA). This paper covers the analysis, design and implementation of integration system in government area. Then the result of this integration has been deployed as a single real time executive dashboard system that can be useful for the governance in order to support them on making decision or policy.
