However, its integration within healthcare systems remains varied across different regions. In Sudan, there exists a burgeoning interest in AI potential applications within medicine. This study aims to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of AI applications in medicine among physicians in Sudan.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 We conducted a web-based survey cross-sectional analytical study using an online questionnaire-based survey regarding demographic details, knowledge, attitudes, and practice of AI distributing through various email listings and social media platforms. A sample of 825 Physicians including doctors in Sudan with different ranks and specialties were selected using the convenient non-probability sampling technique.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 Out of 825 Physicians, 666(80.7%) of Physicians have previous knowledge about AI. However, only a small number 123(14.9%) were taught about AI during their time in medical school, even fewer, just 120(14.5%) had AI-related lessons in their training program. Regarding attitude, 675 (81.8%) agree that AI is very important in medicine, almost the same number, 681(82.6%) support the idea of teaching AI in medical schools. Practically, 535(64.8%) of doctors, think that should get special training in using AI tools in healthcare. Excitingly 651(78.9%) of physicians are interested in working with AI in future. Based on different ranks of doctors toward AI; Medical Officers exhibited the highest proportion at (32.7%) of knowledge and understanding of AI concepts, followed by House Officers at (16.7%) (p-value=0.076); regarding attitude, Medical Officers demonstrated the highest (31.6%) favorable attitude, followed by House Officers at (17.5%) (p-value=0.229); In practice also, Medical Officer showed the highest portion (28.0%) among participants (p-value=0.129).\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 While there is a positive attitude and some level of AI practice, there remains a considerable gap in knowledge that needs addressing.\u0000

These tumors are more aggressive and have poorer prognoses than other gastrointestinal tumors, including gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) or adenocarcinomas. We herein report two cases and review the literature to highlight the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of this uncommon malignancy.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 We reported two very rare cases of primary leiomyosarcoma of sigmoid colon, which referred to our institution with symptoms of abdominal pain. After the initial investigations, patients were diagnosed with primary colonic leiomyosarcoma that underwent laparotomy. In both cases pathological examination revealed a spindle cell tumor growing circumferentially and transmurally in the colon. Final immunohistochemistry were positive with SMA, CK and desmin without the expression of GIST markers (CD117, CD34 and DOG-1) that confirmed leiomyosarcoma. One patient was diagnosed with diffused peritoneal metastasis at 6 months postoperatively and he died after 2 months of paliative care, another one is still on active surveillance.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 Primary leiomyosarcoma (LMS) of the colon is a really rare entity and is only presented in clinical case reports. The purpose of this study was to assess the knowledge and interpretation proficiency of EKG among healthcare professionals (HCPs) in Pakistan.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 This prospective cross-sectional study was conducted among HCPs working in different healthcare settings. A structured questionnaire was used to assess the participants’ theoretical knowledge and ability to interpret EKG findings. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and chi-square tests. The study indicates that EKG knowledge and interpretation proficiency among HCPs in Pakistan is unsatisfactory. Inadequacy of training periods of EKG training sessions and insufficient participation of HCPs in offered training opportunities put forward the need for formation and introduction of better structured and efficient EKG training programmes.\u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 A total of 511 HCPs participated in the study, 28% of whom reportedly had received formal training for EKG interpretation. It discusses the critical importance of nanoparticles in enhancing the accuracy of cancer detection through improved imaging contrast agents and the synthesis of various nanomaterials designed for oncology applications. The review broadly classifies nanoparticles used in therapeutics, including metallic, magnetic, polymeric, and many other types, with an emphasis on their functions in drug delivery systems for targeted cancer therapy. It details targeting mechanisms, including passive and intentional targeting, to maximize treatment efficacy while minimizing side effects. Furthermore, the article addresses the clinical applications of nanomaterials in cancer treatment, highlights prospects, and addresses the challenges of integrating nanotechnology into cancer treatment.
