When PHR is in the printed form it is bulky and inconvenient to carry by the user. Since smart phones has become ubiquitous and a necessity in day to day life, and most of them are equipped with contactless near field communication (NFC), we propose to exploit the inherent advantages of NFC or near field communication to transfer the personal health records from health care settings to patients smart phone and vice versa. This solution will make it convenient for the patient to carry the personal health records with them. This also achieve the quick access to PHR during medical emergencies, that ensures faster intervention. Also it will empower the patient to always carry his or her personal health records with them that come in handy during any medical emergencies. In this paper we prove that peer-to-peer mode in NFC that uses NFC and Bluetooth technologies can be leveraged for secure and seamless transfer of the personal health records from one healthcare network to another. The charge pump is a DC to DC converter which uses capacitor as energy storage elements to produce a higher or lower voltage. This paper present a comparison between two of the most admired charge pump structures such as Dickson charge pump and Charge pump circuit with cross connected NMOS cells. The comparison has been carried out considering the output voltage, power consumption, delay, output current and conversion ratio. The discussion is supported by practical analysis of both the charge pump. The two charge pumps are taken with the input clock signal, power supply voltage, the same storage capacitance per stage, and the same number of stages. The object of this paper is to compare the all the parameter of the charge pump to found best charge pump. The comparison showed that the charge pump circuit with cross connected NMOS cells is best rather than Dickson charge pump. All these activities take driver's attention away from the road which may lead to accidents, cause harm to the driver, pedestrians and also other vehicles on the road. In this paper, a method is proposed to estimate the gaze of the driver and determine whether the driver is distracted or not. Driver's gaze direction is estimated as an indicator of his attentiveness. The driver's gaze estimation is done by detecting the gaze with the help of face, eye, pupil, eye corners and then the detected gaze is then categorized as whether the driver is distracted or not. The algorithm is developed in OpenCV and tested on a CPU platform (Intel core with 4 GB RAM). The processing time taken for the execution of a single frame is around one second. Deploying transactional applications in the Cloud is not considered safe due to requirement of stringent ACID guarantees. These rules can be enforced in Cloud using middleware tools like CloudTran and Oracle Coherence. It becomes a major challenge to integrate these tools for a transactional application developer. So, an integrated framework for educational institutes named as `InFraMegh' is developed. It works on top of CloudTran and Oracle Coherence. InFraMegh focuses on Cloud Data Management layer and provides generalized API for managing data in cache and database. InFraMegh speeds up and eases the development efforts of transactional application developer for Cloud. As proof of concept, a transactional application of educational institutes named as Student Registration Return System (SRRS) is used for verifying the functionality of InFraMegh. SRRS is virtualized using XenApp and accessed on client machines. Virtualized SRRS is tested in single-user and multi-user environments. Its performance is found better over traditional client-server architecture. Hence, InFraMegh expedites efforts of developers in developing transaction applications in Cloud. The objective results are measured qualitatively and quantitatively by application of proposed method on some of MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database waveforms. Digital marketing analysts and data scientists rely on social media analytics tools to deduce customer sentiment from countless opinions and reviews. While numerous attempts have been made to improve their accuracy in the past, yet we know surprisingly little about how accurate their results are. We present an unbiased study of users' tweets and the methods that leverage the available tools & technologies for opinion mining. Our prime focus is on improving the consistency of text classifiers used for linguistic analysis. We also measure the impact of lexical richness in the sample data on the trained algorithm. Specifically large amount of tweet messages are posted by the users. These can be opinion oriented, sentimental tweets or ones that contribute important information. The latter kind of tweets plays a vital role in decision making during a crisis situation. These types of tweets are referred as situation awareness tweets. Extraction of situation awareness information from Twitter is a non-trivial task as the vocabulary used usually is not formal and presence of short hand words for ease of writing reduces the readability of tweets. Crowdsourcing of data during such a disaster can aid in the task of decision making. Classification is a supervised learning method, that maps data into predefined groups or classes. Nowadays classification techniques are extensively used in different applications. In this area most of the research works are done on text, image, signal etc. The main goal of this paper is to use a dictionary-based approach to learn, represent and classify documents. We consider dictionary as a collection of documents and each document in the dictionary is represented as a collection of vectors. An algorithm is also implemented to easily locate a class specific document in the dictionary and if it is not present, update the dictionary. The existing method is based on a dictionary learning algorithm which only improves the document representation based on Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) updation. Since SVD will not be helpful for discrimination of data, so our proposed algorithm is Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) for learning a discriminating dictionary. On applying the proposed algorithm on well known dataset, the overall results obtained shows 90% improvement in accuracy. Data analytics and learning based methods can provide an effective framework for prognostic studies by accurately classifying data instances into relevant classes based on the tumor severity. Accordingly, a multivariate statistical approach has been coupled with an artificial intelligence based learning technique to implement a prediction model. Principal components analysis pre-processes the data and extracts features in the most relevant form for training an artificial neural network that learns the patterns in the data for classification of new instances. The diagnostic data of the original Wisconsin breast cancer database accessed from the UCI machine learning repository has been used in the study. To exploit the sparse impulse response of the system, different sparse penalties are introduced into the error function of the NLMS algorithm. Reweighted Zero Attracting-NLMS (RZA-NLMS) algorithm based on l1-norm relaxation offers improved performance in identifying the system with sparse echo path but when the system is non-sparse, NLMS algorithm dominates the sparse adaptive algorithm. In order to identify the system with varying sparseness, a new strategy is required. In this paper, we propose an affine combination of RZA-NLMS and NLMS filters used for system identification with variable sparsity.
