Using AI-driven cybersecurity solutions signifies a paradigm change away from reactive, defensive tactics and toward proactive, adaptive, and predictive defense systems. The article illustrates how artificial Intelligence (AI) improves threat detection, guards against fraudulent activity, secure patient data, and strengthens the digital thread in manufacturing and supply chain operations. It focuses on essential industries such as nuclear energy, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. The convergence of AI and cybersecurity becomes a strategic necessity as sectors negotiate the challenges of a globalized world, providing light on the way to a more inventive, safe, and resilient future.","PeriodicalId":371070,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Engineering Science (CTES)","volume":"35 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140253591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The point of the invention is that small tubes are mixed into the fertile soil, which keeps moisture or air in the soil, depending on their position. In the case of an entirely random distribution of the tubes within the soil, the tubes achieve both advantages. The point of this patent is the carefully designed size and amount of empty tubes fabricated from organic bio-degradable materials and micro-grinded specific minerals. Using these tubes in the plantations helps to avoid hydric stress and increases yield and improves quality. These small particles improve the water budget (significantly decreases water demand) and enhance the soil’s porosity. After the description of the principle of the tubes, including the positive impact of the tubes on micro-biotic life in the soil, technical advice is also presented on the optimum amounts of mixing the tubes into the soil, and ways of planting are illustrated for plant seedlings and tree saplings. Finally, six different plants planted and observed in Hungary demonstrate the usefulness of these effects. The most common feature of these results is that significant improvements are obtained by using the Agrooter® compared to the traditional plantation by using a 50% smaller amount of irrigation water.","PeriodicalId":371070,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Engineering Science (CTES)","volume":"88 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140460435","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is our, the authors’, shared belief that spatial metaphor in the textual realm plays a significant role in the construction of meaning. In certain literary works, the spatial background of the story is designed with great care, functioning as a dynamic matrix that organizes the plot, adding to or emphasizing the meaning of the narrative. This practice, which we refer to as textual architecture, could be extremely valuable to architects because it offers up a treasure-trove of design methods able to generate meaning through space. The present study offers a way of understanding such spatiality in the context of architectural epistemology. It does so by contemplating the literature in which textual space is delineated. The outcome of this process is an original method of mapping textual architecture based on what we describe as spatial figures. We chose to apply this method to highlight an interesting narrative strategy within the literary genre of horror. We believe that certain writers have used space not to create an atmosphere of terror but to generate terror itself. The products of such endeavours form part of a genealogy that sees textual architecture as a means of generating a feeling of terror. We term this genealogy the architecture of terror. The present study also aims to highlight what we regard as a seminal point in the development of the above-mentioned strategy - the publication in 1839 of Edgar Allan Poe’s short story The Fall of the House of Usher. We examine the spatial figures of this work and their semantic function.","PeriodicalId":371070,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Engineering Science (CTES)","volume":"76 22","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140486119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After a critical analysis of current research and development policies in the field of concrete construction, a new global approach is proposed which should allow this concrete construction profession to better respond to the challenges caused by global warming. For instance, it needs to improve how it shares information with the public and other relevant agencies. When sharing the information with the public, all co-principals should be on the same page to avoid division because it can portray a bad image. This will also increase inter-agency transparency and improve the agency’s performance. Second, the agency will need to be more accountable by taking responsibility for its actions. It can do so by creating a healthy system of accountability among the agency staff and this can help it improve performance in the long-term. Among different stages and aspects in completing a prefabricated building project, the selection of the prefabricated structural system is a crucial step because it has direct influence on both the cost and usage of the building. This paper proposed a structural system selection model for five commonly used prefabricated buildings structures based on value engineering’s value coefficient analysis ranking which took both life cycle cost coefficient and functional coefficient into consideration. The proposed model aims at providing an innovative approach assisting early decision making on the selection of structural systems for project stakeholders. The case study provided in this paper demonstrated the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model. With proper implementation, the proposed approach can also promote the development of prefabricated buildings due to their cost and value advantages.","PeriodicalId":371070,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Engineering Science (CTES)","volume":"30 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139281495","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
