The reasons for the appearance of traffic jams in the city are considered. The principle of operation of intercepting parking lots in St. Petersburg and Moscow is presented, as well as a comparative analysis of the experience of using these projects between the two cities. Shown are the projected data regarding the development of the project of intercepting parking lots in St. Petersburg. The main ways of placing cars in the parking lot are presented.
