THE ROLE OF MDM-SYSTEM IN THE ACTIVITIES OF ORGANISATION AND THE DATA TYPES USED IN MDM-PROJECTS

Abstract

This article discusses the role of managing the MDM in a BI-project and in the activities of an organization as a whole. Provides an overview of the data types that are often found in MDM implementation projects. Explains why master-data, reference data, and transactional data are critical in such projects.
